Pink Gem Challenge Card

Good morning to all....  Finally got around to making up my Pink Gem Challenge card... poor little Milly has been in and out of my to - do box for weeks,  anyway todays the day she finally gets to make her entrance..  or escape, which ever way you look at it :)

This month at Pink Gem, its a sketch... (well need I say more, me and my love of.) hence I wanted to make sure I had a go at this.  I have...'tweeked it' a little,  as Bev always says lol.. but think it ok.
No help at all on the recipe this time... as bits done here and there.... but papers from stash, inked the edges of the nesties, used SU slot punch, ribbon from stash as were flowers brads and well//. as I said useless !!! rofl... Will try harder :) 
Well was going to attempt a bit of gardening... but... think I go and do some colouring instead... not going to burn off many calories this way am I !

The Stamping Boutique

Isnt this such a cute boys  image...  I seem to be making rather a lot of male cards of late, I think its about time too lol... but we are getting more and more great male images to work with lately, it makes life SO much easier.

So onto todays card. The little racing driver can be purchased from The Stamping Boutique shop, (which is currently having a new shop front renovation)... but I will be announcing when it is back up and running.
This card is also entered into the For Fun challenge, as TSB is sponsering the prizes this time round... and.. as if you didn't guess, lol  the theme is... bold and bright summer colours .

Over on The Stamping Boutique Blog, we are currently having a monthly challenge which is an anything goes challenge, only stipulation is it has to be a Stamping Boutique image used.  This will end in 3 days, when we will be announcing the winner and handing out the goodies :)  and also putting up the August challenge.

Im off to do something constructive... just not sure what !!! think inserts....... ...maybe not lol xxx hugs xxx

.............. to.. Lastmin.com.  Another rush job, as wanted to try and add another WOJ challenge card in before it was too late, and too late is tomorrow !!! lol.. so hence two posts today, oh well makes up for missing monday card. !
Followed Bevs sketch, and made this one plain and simple, as blokey card.. and thats what they are... arent they? lol..  I will probably add a sentiment at some point, then again, I might not.

  Someone somewhere, very kindly made up a sheet of the 'ticket' sentiments... and I saved them to my puter.... and lost them, not only that, but also lost the link to the persons, who I can not remember, blog ! so all in all not doing too well there... been after them for such a long time too, and these all had different sentiments on them ready to print and go... I was so chuffed to come across them on my blog travels.... so got right hump when couldnt find them again... so if anyone has a clue what I am on about and can help me with a link please, I will be ever so ever so grateful.

Kenny K Challenge No.3

Good Sunday morning to you all... and todays the day, when we start our 3rd challenge over at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge Blog,

This week it is a fabby sketch by Donna, and I don't need to tell you I love working with sketches, it takes all the hard work out of a card for me... (I likey easy) lol... and this was a great sketch to work with.  I have used Da Bomb, which can be found HERE ,at Kenny K's Download shop.

I adore colouring up these images, they are just sooo easy and great fun... I have made this one for my daughters birthday (Im safe showing it as she doesnt come on my blog).. bad daughter..!. lol.. And I think this sums her up... (well the sentiment does lol)... I do love her really :)

So what you all waiting for??? get those colouring mediums out, find some dp's  and a few embellies and join in the fun.   As always there is prizes to be won. !!!!  Good luck to everyone, and... we would love to see LOTS of enteries, we have had sucy a fabby response in our challenges, thank you everyone thats joined in the fun. and dont forget you can always grab the freebie and join in. Early Bird

Good morning all, yes it is very early... but I got a busy day so thought best get cracking.
This is a card I have made for WOJ GDTA, which finishes today, so skin of teeth job again, lol.  The theme is Summer... , so the colours blue and yellow come to mind straight away, and I thought for a change I would make a male card, which I find sooo difficult, as you know I do love to add ribbons, bows, flowers, charms etc etc all the pretty things, and sooo hard not to put all  on .. always makes me feel my card look so bare now... But somehow dont feel a male would appreciate pink roses and buds on a card, do you? hehe.

Played around a bit with the nesties, as you can see. Done Out of the Box , plus just tucked the blue nestie shape down in behind the dp.Thought it looked slightly different for a change.
I also have another card to add later today, as I think it is another one that will be lastmin.com for a challenge, need to go over and check out..if I ok for time, could be a card in front of myself for a change . !!!! and leave it till tomorrow,  (heres hoping) lol..

Pennys PaperCrafty Challenge

      


Morning to everyone, todays card is my first on the DT for Pennys Papercrafty Challenge, the theme for this week is, a recipe.... 3 embellies, 2 dp's and one ribbon.... easy peasy.... (so mine was flower, button, charm)... just incase you looking for the 3rd lol...

Don't always find yellow easy to colour up, and but I got it right this time, shame I not take note of what colours I used.... I really don't get any better do I ! LOL.. I did make this card a week or so ago, and I was in a rush at the time, so thats my excuse (this time) and Im sticking to it lol...   (I did feel the card needed more on it, but had to keep to the recipe )... less is  more, less is more lol.
Not used this Magnolia image for such a long time, and I really should as it such a sweetie.

I hope you will come over to Pennys, and join in the fun, the challenge is up for another 12 days.. so you have plenty of time, and you know I love to have all your support and see you over there...

Buds

Well siggy still causing me grief, so think thats about to go in the gash bin !~!!  Just will not let me start adding my posting, I managed it so easily the other day... (and should have written down how I done it), because I not managed it today, so sometimes you might see it, sometimes you might not lol.

Think the heavens are just about to open here...so I best get a wriggle on and walk the dog quick sharp.

This is such a sweet image by none other, than Mo Manning (again)... can you guess I adore her images.  This one is called Buds, and can be found HERE.  Had this one a little while, but been having a few probs getting the dog reasonably ok.... still not 100% happy with it, but it is by far an improvement on my last one, lol,

Really should be sorting out inserts, but ooooh they sooooooo boring... then you have all the rest of the gubbings to do, if like me you hope to sell a few... and I could be doing some serious colouring/crafting in that time spent.. hence I seem to have rather a load of cards that are sitting there awaiting my attention. lol.

Best I get a shifty on... or someone is going to get awfully wet...  Hope to be back again tomorrow with another something.. think its time to check out the challenge blogs again, and see if I have anything sitting on my desk thats appropriate.. (probably not).. lol..

Todays card is my first one for PTWC, as GDT, and the theme this week is, 'CUTE'. The image is by Digital Delights, who is this week sponsering the prize.. how generous of Wendy is that. !   So I hope you will pop over and join in the fun,

WOJ

Just managed to get a card finished, this time for the WOJ challenge, which is HERE,  This week it is a sketch, and I now know I should have done a slightly bigger card lol, as I did struggle a tad fitting it all on, never mind.. did manage it, by skin of teeth.    OOOOpppps meant to put this in for WOJ GDTA as well doh.... oh well will add now (23/7) and hope, ! As she could be going to the summer sales !!!!!

Craft room... which was very tidy this morning... looks like a bombs hit it now.. so best I go take a piccy for the forum I belong to, and add the 'after' shot... (we having a Shhh whats on your stash desk Sunday)... Well, I know there is a blog out there that does Whats on Your Desk Wednesday... so I did pinch the idea, but it is sooo much fun nosing around others peoples craft rooms/areas. :)...
Well I have been  busy busy again,   feels like I not stopped, lawn mowed, washing done, in and out and in again, 2nd lot needs bringing in.. and really must find where the iron is kept lol...  dog walked, me shattered.
So its time to pour myself a nice glass of chilled dry white.. and put my feet up for half an hour or so... and as belly thinks throat has been cut, guess I best investigate the conents of my fridge.  Think I NEED to go shopping tomorrow !!! grrrr. (hate shopping).. unless it craft goodies of course LOL.

Sam in Trouble

 Well its been a very busy day today... my adorable granddaughter had her first dance show,on stage at The Winter Gardens in Margate, doing tap and ballet, and omg she did us so proud, all of 3 years old and stole the show (ok, so I am biased and she was one of  the smallest one there, but.. piping up when all the bigger children were receiving their medals... saying " I not getting one of those" , certainly made people laugh and do the aarrrh bit... lol)... and trust me, she wasnt that quiet in telling peeps ! ...   I took a few shots, but... was right at the back, and no, I still haven't fathomed out  how to sort my camera out lol... cos still havent found the book I know I still have.. but I think its about time I spent a couple of hours looking for it !!!!

Ok on to todays card... have quickly (and trust me it was quickly), made this for Mo's  DP2 challenge blog, Sam in Trouble, can be found here..the theme for this week is a masculine card, and I never do enough of them, and had totally forgot I even had this image, so thought about time I coloured him up.

Do  not forget we have a brand new challenge over at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge Blog tomorrow... and its going to be................................  hehe.. you didnt think I was going to let on did you????  But its a good one !!! and thats all I saying... cos I seen what the DT girlz have been upto and wow, be prepared to have your socks knocked off.
OHOH... forgot to tell you, ... I MET BRIAN BLESSED !!!!!!! piccy to follow when daughter pulls her finger out !!! ... and yes... he is as he is... what a 'fun' man... x

Tilda

 Sorry been awol, but been poorly, had a migraine attack and all the horrible things that go with it, still not feeling 100%, but  better than I did yesterday.
But I think the drugs not worn off yet, cos... I coloured up this image, chose all the papers carefully, chocolate and cream... !!!! ring a bell?, knew I could enter another card for the Totally Tilda challenge, as long as only one a week, so spent ages making up the card (as always).. only to just go and look, to see I only put the last one on a few days ago, and not a week ago, like I thought! so.. basically waste of time that was. ! ( bit like the one I done the other day, waited until next day to take pic, thinking could add to blog then, and... realised it was for a DT that I cannot show yet.. lol...)  ever get the feeling you not winning, cos thats how I am feeling right now.. I put it down to being poorly, but... think it just senile dementia setting set in. ! lol
So, as will not have time to make another today, take photo and put on blog, I will have to forego the challenge on TT. (blast)... and thats being very polite :).
Weather down here in Kent is poo... high winds, been raining, storm, who stole Summer???? Might even have to break out the fleece's again..

whoop whoop again

Good morning all... not stopping long, just long enough to tell you my good news, then I will be back later with a card...
Have been lucky enough to be chosen to be on Papertakes GDT, how cool is that?  One happy little bunny, again ,lol.
However, tad worried, as having problems with my blog posts at mo... not sure whats going on... and I really don't need problems of any sort just now, with so much to do... so, I hope it behaves itself, have had to lose y siggy for now, as it was stopping me from posting anything... grrr... gremlins lol
Will be back later today once I have decided which card to do... just SOOO much choice lol.

2 for 1

Used Mo Manning image, Summer Fairy Finna, which can be found , HERE, and am entering it in for DP2 challenge, which is Summer themed or beach, and also for Totally Gorguss which is Water.
Had a bit of a play around with the grass, and don't think it came out too bad, there is also LOADS of sparkle, but do not think the camera has picked it up.. had a slight (understatement), mistook whilst placing the image on the scalloped nestie !!!! note to self in future, put wet glue over the sticky tape !!!!! I desperately tried to peel it off, but to no avail... and yes.. everything else was in place.. grrrrr. might have to be one of those I give a blind person lol... still.. lesson learnt.

Now off to add an insert... yes, just the one!!! lol, whizz around the post box, ok... so take a slow stroll.... :)... and then go and spoil self in craft room for a couple of hours.. have too many half done projects on desk at mo... and not sure which ones to finish first.. .need to go check my 'postit' note... hehe.. which nigh on takes up the whole of my desktop now... busy busy... but... it defo keeps me out of mischief LOL... just wish Icould be as enthusiastic when it came to doing the inserts, packaging up the cards etc.. yeah you know.. the boring stuff.

Just a quickie as want to put this into this weeks Papertake Weekly challenge..following a sketch there is also a WOJ stamp up for the winner, so pop over and take a look and maybe take part too... this is a bit out of my comfort zone, as... in colours, only ONE flower and no pretty bits.. and minimal ribbon and bows... but just went with the sketch, and this is how it ended up !!! Now thinking it looks VERY bare for me lol.... might need to go and add more bits lol...

Chocolate Tilda

Another challenge card, this time for Totally Tilda challenge blog, which is CHOCOLATE .. well I mean, no way could I pass choccy up lol... so thought would join in the fun. Wanted to try a different way of colouring up, so thought what better than on this card. I have mainly used a blender pen, and not much else, on the dress, (and notice, no red tints in hair !).. Just changed my usual E numbers, and yes you guessed it... Ive forgotten what ones I used, typical lol...
The card was made around the bow, as been touching and feeling the ribbon for far too long, and thought about time I actually used some of it... :) (yes it hurt) hehe

I am also entering One Stop Craft Challenge which is Monochromatic.... I love it when I can enter one card into more than just one challenge, otherwise I would be up 24 /7 trying to make more than already am, lol... as keep saying not enough hours in the day.... think I just need to get quicker at making a card personally, lol
Well enough chatting, the back garden is calling me... its a lovely hot one today, and going to get hotter, so I off in the garden for a few hours, cant see much gardening getting done, as my back wont allow it.. but perhaps dead heading the roses might be a bit of a start.

Just for a change

Thought I would do a Magnolia, as not joined in one of their challenges for ages, I was very tempted to make this into a Christmas card, but couldnt be bothered to dig out the papers lol... hows that for laziness... mind you if you saw what they are all under, you would understand.
The challenge this week at Just Magnolia is, 3 embellies (three flowers), 2 design papers (check).. literally lol, and 1 ribbon. done. Nice and easy that was, as pretty much describes most of my cards lol.
So now I off again to get a second card finished.. so glad I stamped up and coloured these yesterday !!!!

I did make one up in the week, but forgot something ! so had to do another one for the challenge... but not to worry... so am scraping in by the skin of my teeth. :)....
Hopefully will be back again tomorrow with something... not sure what yet but I do happen to have 2 more KK images sitting on my desk !lol ... but then again I might shock you all and do something different...
Im off to test drive the hoover around the upstairs.... and at least clear up some of the mess I have made in the craft room.

KK Card

Good morning all...
Well the sun certainly not shining here in Kent... very gloomy day... however, maybe too much bright light not good for me today hehe...

Had a FANTASTIC time with my girls and grandchildren last night, albeit very noisey.. but we had a fabby time. The littlies also managed to christen my new kitchen table... how on earth they got finger prints where they did, is beyond me lol.. and as for the floor omg.... ... not that I got OCD at all... (well ok... just a tad) lol.. but couldn't go to bed untiil most of the chaos was sorted... think my floor needs a good washing today, going on my youngest grandsons feet colour last night... I think he brought most of the garden into the house lol.. bless him.

Right onto todays card... yet another Kenny K Diva card, I love these sooo much.. am totally spoilt for choice as to which one to play with next. These fabby funky images can be found HERE, and don't forget the new challenge blog will start on 11th July, this is HERE .... soooo exciting.
