One I done a couple of days ago, not sure about this one, love the image, but not got the card right.... oh well...
Gosh its been a busy day...done LOADS of painting, unfortunately, not card craft sort ! but walls.. and more walls.... son and daughters new house.. now why or how I got roped into that I dont know, as my place needs it more, Im sure, but... I seem to get pulled into the craft room, and nowt else gets done ! lol But with a new kitchen on the horizon, and possibly a new garden.... I will have to pull my finger out and re d ecorate the lounge very soon !!! ... but... my good friend Lynn... will defo be conned, sorry asked, to help ! lol she a whizz at cutting in ! ... me, cant see a blooming thing without me binoculars. ! So Im taking it easy for the rest of the evening with a glass or three of vino calapso.... and hopefully tomorrow can get back to what I really enjoy.... crafting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Sugar Bowl Challenge

Im going for broke this week... another challenge card under my belt, another first, for The Sugar Bowl this time, .... a sketch... and homemade flowers was the order of the day... and I do love doing sketches !!! :) so had to have a go.. been dying to use my new papers too, so I had to do pink!!
Managed to sit and colour about half a dozen images yesterday, went copic mad... lol.. still not totally happy with my efforts, but think some of the latter ones were sh owing signs of improvement... will perservere.. but think I might need to go back to water colouring for a while as it a lot less stressful lol...

Copic Challenge Card

Well I know Im only just getting to grips with these, but I thought I would have my first go at a copic challenge... any excuse to play ! LOL... I only managed to use a little bit of 'red' but I think that it will be ok. love the combination of the blue and green thou.. and would you beleive it, I got the G99 in the post this morning, AFTER I finished the card... never mind.. they do say get as close as poss and I think I did ok.. (and guess who missed out again on a GDT call !!! LOL)
Still not finished tiding up craft room, as quickly as I put one thing away, I start playing lol.. must be stricter with self :)

Two birds one Magnolia :)

So wanted to do this weeks Magnolia challenge, and also I knew Pippa was expecting me to partake in the Imagenation challenge too... so... as time was short... made up Magnolia to sketch provided, and I am happy in the knowledge I would give this to a 12 year old girly... so sent it to Pippa too. Yep I know it sposed to be annonymouse at Imagenation, but this card was made for the magnolia challenge and they need to see it LOL... Been playing with copics again, and my new nesties.. (Pam I blame you !!! ) .. I also used my new SU rollergraph wheels to make the backing sheets, buttons from Greta (thanks hun).... and ribbon from me ! lol.. Needless to say I have just been very naughty and ordered MORE copics !!!!!! ... I best start getting good at this soon or it will be lots of money wasted, and could have paid off the mortgage LOL.
Now I find I quite like Prismacolours after all.................. oh dear .... Pam... your fault AGAIN hehehe...

Tab has put up some candy too....(closes 22/8) Im so glad I am making time to get back to blog hopping, I am finding some fabby blogs, (and lovely candy too)... forgotton how much I missed looking at other peoples blogs and cards...
Hopefully !!!! I will actually make a card today, as I not exactly done much of late and am dying to have a play with my new SU bits and pieces... (thanks Toni x)...

Flippin Christmas .......... woof

Well hello all.... feels like forever since I've made a card.. and I adore this little dog with his pressie.. more from LaPashe and the Flippin Christmasrange decoupage sheets... cannot wait to see what Jak, Toni, and Karen have done with theirs.... Due to having a visitor over the weekend, this really had to be a quickie card to get it on the blog in time, so all I done was to use a piece of glitter card , drew two freehand doggie bones , added a bit of ribbon, sentiment and backing sheet and a few peeloffs, job done.
The bonus with these are the backing sheets that come free with the deco... so quick and easy to complete a card. Well done again Jak for what I am sure will be another winner.

Back to normality

Wedding is over, son and dil gone back to Tanzania... (just)... me heartbroken... sob..sniff.... so to take my mind off things thought would add the wedding card I made for them plus add a couple of wedding piccies...
Will be back to the land of the living as from next week...
Have my good friend Pam staying with me this weekend.. so dont think I will be blogging till after that...
The past couple of weeks have certainly been MANIC... lol
Son turned up at wrong church and wrong wedding.. !!! made grand entrance at the correct one, just in nick of time, reducing his sister to tears, as it was a total surprise for her, that he and Anie were coming over from Tanzania... lots of tears but lots of happiness too.
me.. im sobbing again now... did on his arrival and also on his departure (all of half hour ago, ish)... But... hopefully will see them again in a few months!!!!! holiday for me maybe??? if not.... they hopefully will return next April for their holiday !

Why is it ???

I always seem to be at the airport when my boat comes in???
I have been on the look out for another DT spot chance.. but this time with stamping... and... one of my favs is Sarah Kay Stamps.... and ... two days after the DT call closes... I spot it!!! .. got right hump now !!! Stampavie had a DT call.... sob... so now I telling self I wouldnt have got it anyway cos need more practice with my copics lol...LOL
oh well.. one day..
In the mean time... I been playing again,' and NO still not done my packing ! or the hoovering or... (nothing done, in honesty) LOL my excuse was... I was tidying up my craft room before I go away... lol.. and oooh look what I found on my desk... pink papers... ooh and one 'gorgous' image lol... needless to say this is probably the last card I will be able to show you until I get back from the wedding... hence putting it on now.
So.. hope you like.. and I apologise now for going awol for a week... but as soon as I get back... I shall dive straight into my craft room.... :) Take care all.... and will be back soon... x

Making up for lost time

Been getting serious withdrawel symptoms from card making... didnt realise how bad until yesterdays card... so whilst I sposed to be packing... I sort of got side tracked... via the craft room, finished off my ele' card and half way through another one.. (no.. no packing done yet..no ironing, no hoovering, infact not a lot really) lol.. Off to daughters tomorrow or Tuesday (hopefully be Tuesday now.. as I not ready to go)... as she is due to get married this Saturday coming.. so youngest daughter, myself, Ruby, 4 dogs in car... to Lincolnshire !!! yeah.. should be a breeze. !! earplugs at the ready me thinks. !
So hopefully might get other card finished before I go.... !!!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

Thought I would have a quick go at a challenge, as not done one for such a long time, Had coloured the cat a couple of days ago ready, hoping it would fit in with scheme.. and it did,
the receipe was... 3 ribbons, 2 flowers and a charm.... I also wanted to use some of the new SU papers I got recently, so this is what I come up with..

Last of my Flippin Christmas cards to show.. Kept this one very plain, literally just added a few peeloffs and a sentiment... easy peasy. Make sure you check out the other DT's work, addy in side bar, and below.
This was the card I should have put on last night... but... farming got in the way :)
So.. told self off good and proper and here it is today.
Used Copics for the image... (and yes... Ive HAD to buy some more of them)..:)

another Happy Flippin Christmas.

oooooh guess what i got from SU this month!!... I blame Jak of course, for showing me the rollargraph wheels.... sooo effective.. so with the snowflake one, I done a background for this Flippin Christmas card... ... didnt think it needed much else... as enough going on everywhere else. I added lots of sparkleys (not that you can see them)... mini diamonds, glitter pens, glue and glitter lol... but.. tried to no t OVERDO it.. well every xmas card got to have a bit of bling !!!!! lol... hey cant wait to use the wheels more... and cant wait to show you the last card ... as it just goes to show, you just dont have to add much at all to finish a card off.... these really are fabby sheets... and I will defo be using more of them myself this year.. takes all the hard work out of it..

The new Flippin Christmas sheets are out.... and very nice they are too.. Nice jolly Santas in various poses !!! lol.... nice one again Jak (and Jim).
I got out my ink pads for this one, walnut distress ink and a small light browny one i found ! yep I know very technical as ever. Wanted it to match in to the sentiments that you get with the sheet.( cant believe the value for money with these ones... a defo must... with free backing sheet and sentiment and verse... Jak has really pushed the boat out with this one. ) plus used CB snowflakes and crushed glass (well think thats what is is.. lol).. very effective anyway. LOL

Hello All

Yep I'm still alive.......... just.. !!
A few injuries along the way... but I still here...
Went away on my eldest daughters Hen Weekend ... had the most fabby time ever.... Italian meal on the Friday, followed by boogie woogie oogie... couple of clubs... and lots of stag parties .. wayhey.. will add a few piccies. ! .. (not the unsensored ones thou, incase anyone is of nervous disposition) lol
Saturday, Reverse steering, no.. n ot backwards... but left is right, and right is left... or as we sorted the code of.... (between us and the 'instructor' ).... to me, to you, to you... noo to me, or was it to you??? lol
Followed by.. QUADS... we ALL so want one... fabby... I had a bit of trouble remembering not to go WITH IT... but against it.... previous bike rider... lol... then up and down hills, riding horses come in useful there.. lol leaning back and forth at correct times. !
Then onto Clay pidgeon shooting.. youngest daughter turned out to be a dab hand at this and a fine crack shot... bit worrying lol... me.... hit loads..... grass, dandelions, blue flowers... ... pidgeons NONE lol...
Then for the finalie paint balling !!!! NOw any NORMAL 51 year old with a bad back would have said at this point... I DONT THINK SO... however.... im not normal.... and not wanting to miss out on anything... took part..... in the pouring rain.... and up and down VERY Slippery slopes
........... yep you guessed it... MAN DOWN.. or in this case... woman... (still i never got hit by the paint balls ) lol.... i fell heavily.. and thought it hurt.... a lot.... however.. soldiered on... went out clubbing that night after fabby indian meal... but.... not much dancing for me !!! fell off kerb after a few too many lemo's... lol ... got home... to... one very swollen ankle..... bad back.. (worse than normal by heaps)... and....
up hospital yesterday to find I either got torn ligaments in groin or ... broken broken in your nether regions ! ... or there abouts lol
yep im in pain lots of..... but... today finally managed to make two cards.....
one is for a SU challenge.. that I am in the ten of... and the other was for my daughter and son in law for wedding...
SU card went ok...
wedding card fabby... or so I thought... until a friend pointed out a spelling error.... yep Im swearing... heaps.... so tomorrow will have to try and rectify that !!!! or start again... grrr.
so... for now.. book above to read and one solitary card to view lol....xxx

Hi and Bye

Been a bad blogger again... but its well manic at my house... we all leading up to Hayleys wedding and its all go. Plus Im having works done on my house at same time... probably not the best time to have fencing and the garden done.. but.. ! waited so long to get it sorted..
Im ... or should I say we... about 10 of us.. are all off tomorrow for the hen weekend !!!! oh dear.. Bournemouth here we come ! ... from what I know from youngest who seems to have taken over the role as wedding and hen party organiser lol.. bless you Stacy.. you doing a grand job... its going to be one heck of a weekend.. I just hope my old bones can keep up with all the goings on.. I shall certainly try my best. !
Clay pidgeon shooting, off roading and paintballing apparently... as well as something for the more gentle of the ladies... spa's, manicures, pedicures facials etc... guess I be out off roading at that point LOL... plus nightclubbing for they youngesters.. (think that includes someone who still thinks in her 20's.. hehehe shame body not agree) ........ So...
I wont be about til next week.. not that you will notice any different of late !!!! ... I still havent taken a piccy of all the lovely birthday cards I received.. but I wil do asap. As they are all so lovely.

Hello everybody... its Roo aged 2

oh hello... ive been to nannies again.... I do miss my nannie but she keeps telling me she too busy to see me... (thats what my mum told me)... something to do with farms and tinternet and doggies and lots of reasons... I not understand why she not like me coming to her house and make it all messy for her... give her something to do laters when I have to go home. :)
Well mummy brought me here at half past eight... we had porridge at nannies house, nannie said what no muilk at your house Ruby.. hehe.. we like nannies better. mummy went had go to work.. and then my day began... oooh where do i begin... now first of all nannie got friend coming.. so we had to go strip MY bed and I took William out for a cuddle.. cos he still sleeping in bed... i put all the clothes in wash machine.. and bag.. nannie said maybe we should put tablets in bag first.. but i was bit too quick for her hehe... why tablets... has wash machine got headache???we put clothes on line and i dont like pegs they bite your fingers... so i not do that bit anymore. cos it REALLY hurted.then we went and sat in the garden for a little while i had to wear a silly hat and have cream all over me.... it sprayed eeeevverywhere when i done it... i too quick again for nannie.. muggi not get sunburn now :) then i played in the mud... it not wet mud but dry mud, so that ok... and i pulled all the weeds out for nannie... and also tried to pull out a pink flower... actually it a bush nannie said.. and it called fusssa... was told leave alone.. but i picked some of the pink bi ts off when nannie went for cuppa coffee... i put under my bum so she not see til i stood up.. and i said i not know how got there hehe... silly nannie. i helping. then we went and had lunch.. well i did... nannie not have time, cos had to pick upall bricks in lounge cos muggi kept fallling over them, and i had iscream... no sprinkles thou, and no chokolate... but nannie say she buy some. (if she remembers).
then.... nannie had to go to farm... I thought we going in car.... but silly nannie went on puter... she showed me all the horses and goats and flowers and everything... I couldnt see them, i told nannie i cant see them... and i said i put glasses on ..... well nannie can see with glasses so i thought might help. me not understand why nannie laughing soooo much her eyes leaked
then mummy not come home cos she stucked in traffic so nannie took me and xev down the park... now... you mustnt tell an yone.. cos this not nice... but... i took my shoes off and wanted nannie to put back on for me... and do you know what.... she said.... NO... Roo do it.... i wanted nannie do it... me not win .... nannie walked off across the park so i chased her... but left shoes behind... but no like grass on feet so had to go back get them... and yes i did put them on myself.
humph naughty nannie. making Roo do it... so not fair.
ooooh i got real 'cared boy on motor bike thingy making lots of noise... i nearly climbed up nannie for cuddle i soooo 'cared. then we comed home to nannie house... and mummy come very late... took me home and i went straight to sleep cos i soooo tired. think nannie slept well too... cos i had her up and down them s tairs to toilet about 50 times she say... i think only 49...
well i got to go now... but i promise come back very soon .... soon as nannie got sprinkles....
