Sketch n Stash Challenge 58

Good Morning peeps, another Monday comes round again... (too blooming quickly if you ask me) lol.. however on the bright side, its a brand new challenge, over at Sketch n Stash, and we have another fabby sketch for you , designed by Vicky,   I tend to use this one quite a lot, so it defo one of my favs.. 
I have used a Magnolia image, coloured with copics.. and yes I remember which ones I used.. thats a rariety lol..
We have some fabby prizes up for grabs, Simon Says is offering up a $15 voucher to use in the store.. and Meljen designs..

Likkle drum roll here... lol... yep we have brand spanking new releases by.. Kenny  K... Mothers day.. Retro, Easter...   Well... I just lurve the 'Mother'  even though didnt use her ! lol... go check out the girlz's blogs and all the fabbytastic sentiments they have added to their images. LOL.. WTG girlz... ( although I went with retro) ! lol

I can't tell you how proud I am of 'my' girlz.. they do the images so proud, every week... and I would like to say. WTG girlz... Mama hen says WELL DONE !!!!  A little (ok, a lot)  sorry to see you go, to Michelle and Rach this week too... big hugs girlz.. will miss you both.  

So onto the challenge... I chose AQUAMARINE, as the challenge, and here is my card ....

I made my own bp with SU's roller blade.. oh no.. that not it.. rollerball, nope.. roller something..... the big one... :) and swirls, and two SU ink pads... (yep they both survived the day.. just).. plus used, SU ribbon, but copic'd the life out of it with the same two colour ways, turquoise something and a blue ! USELESS, I know !!! .. tis late and this will be scheduled.. lol... cos blowed if I getting up at silly o clock to sort...

The sentiment... hurrah.. I know this one.. is made by PINK GEM, and can be found HERE.... .... and the copic numbers... NO CHANCE. lol.. but that wont come as any surprise to anyone... but.. if you REALLY need to know, I can trace them down. !   so... on that note... I think I need my bed... something about clocks and loss of sleep tonight I beleive !!!!... so best I get going.. and try and catch the begger up... :)...  

Us girlz at KKKG will be doing our 'rounds' and looking in on all the enteries this week, and we can't wait... cos I know you will all send in fabby cards .. :) as always.. :).

Where did the week go??? and News Flash :)

OM Word, where has this past week disappeared to?  I cannot beleive I have not posted a card or anything on my blog...
I have to admit, I have been chasing my rear end all week... and... as the sun has been shining (and that doesn't happen a lot this time of year... (come to that, any time of year in UK) lol...).. I have been out in the garden quite a bit... and the craft room has been vacant rather a lot.. and when in there, been doing those (going to swear now)... inserts... ! boring or what lol... so not much has been done on the creative side,.. but I did manage to do a few DT cards, which obviously will be shown in due course.

Now... my little News Flash, I would have like to have shown you a Pink Gem image today, as I have some fabulous news, as you know, I was asked by Janet of Pink Gem to be their Guest designer, over at A Gem of a challenge, for 3 months, well.... I can now say... I have also been asked to stay on the team... I am totally over the moon to have been asked, and it didnt take a nano second to say yes.  I am still beaming like a Cheshire cat lol...   Although I have not used a PG image on this card, I have used a Pink Gem bp., which can be found HERE, called Oh Boy,  at the shop, I adore these papers, and the color on this one matched my ribbon perfectly,  (talking of ribbon, yes, I did titivate it a bit more after taking the photo lol)... The Mangolia image I have had printed up for ages just not got around to using it, and as luck would have it, the puter generated sentiment, was also printed up ages ago, and just sat on desk top.... I was filling in spare bits on my print out digis... once again the colour matched perfectly.. bonus !! lol...

Right well best I stop waffling on, as need to go finish off the rest of the inserts today, as its 'table' day tomorrow for the charity do. plus I need to make sure all is ready... (well I know it isnt lol).. but best I make sure it is today.

A Gem of a Challenge 17

Good morning all, and today starts a whole new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge, and this time Jenny has chosen,.......... the theme of...'ANYTHING BUT A SQUARE'.  So that can be a simple A5, or you can be really clever, (like some of my fellow partners in crime lol), and do something more adventurous.  I went with a swing card (thanks Lynn for help with destructions).

 (not the easiest card to photograph!) :)
I used the polymer stamp Skateboard Andy, who can be found HERE, at the Shop, (he also comes on a deco sheet too, for those that dont like to colour)... so best of both worlds :)  The dp's I have used, well the check was a little bit I had left over in my stash box, but the main paper once again comes from Pink Gem, and is sooo cute, The digi paper pack is called Slugs and Snails, ... and you can find them HERE.

Copics used, as always, E00, E000, R20, E11.  Top, R20, R22, R24, R27, R29. Jeans, B12, B14, B18. Likkle dawg, E11 E13, E15.  there, didn't I do well ! LOL... makes a change LOL..

So.... get your thinking caps on.... and I am really looking forward to seeing what you all come up with on this challenge, don't forget, to be in with a chance of winning 2 polymer stamps of your choice from Pink Gem (subject to availability), you must use a Pink Gem Image on your creation.

Sketch n Stash Challenge 57

Good Morning peeps... todays starts a new  challenge over at Sketch n Stash, and our lovely Sue has come up with  a great sketch as always,  all we ask is, you let us know what piece of stash is old and neglected or brand spanking new.  There is an optional extra this time,..... CAS.. ( clean and simple).... as you can see, I didn't follow the extra bit LOL..  You have two weeks to come up with a masterpiece :) and we hope you will all join in, its a lovely easy one this time, so no excuses. :)

I have used one of the Sugar Nellie stamps.. Verity, who can be found HERE , and oooh dear whilst getting a link, have just spotted some new ones !!!!! Must tie hands behind back for a while.. LOL
I adore these stamps, and so easy to colour up, as most of the hard work is done for you.    I am afraid to say, I have not a clue what I used on this card as made it a while back, before I was ill... apologies.

Talking of ill.... update... yes STILL poorly, cannot believe it... absolutely full of cough and cold still and no where near feeling healthy to say the least... I really am surprised that I still feel so lousy after a week... I can only put this down to getting old. lol... as normally 2/3 days and I am fine... but not this time... maybe I need MOT, or as I said yesterday.. shooting LOL.. not to worry... I will get there in the end... thankfully Bali is a  few weeks away yet, so I dont have to panic about that.

Right , best I pull a finger out, and start moving... didnt get to 'Mums' last week, so must pop in and see her today, plus visit the vet, as guess who's paperwork for the insurance company got lost in transit !!!! then a supermarket needs visiting, then eldest daughter turning up this pm.. so a full day ahead... and what would I rather do???????? go back to bed for an hour or two, then play.. however... needs must today.. maybe change of scenery will help :)..

Today starts a brand new challenge over at KKKGC , and this week its Team A's turn,  and likkle old me is  hosting.. I have chosen the theme for the week,( yep, they even let me choose now :) LOL... talk about let loose, hehe

LACE , RIBBON, BOWS..

I have used, Delore D'ammage, who can be found HERE,    

I chose out the papers first, (yah, I remembered to do that !!!!) .. and they are by SU, and totally gorgeous.. The lace was given to me by my lovely friend Trace, the ribbon, I used my copics to get the colour I wanted.   As you can see, been playing with LOADS of colours again on the hair.

I did not take down the numbers, as was lucky to get the card finished on time as it was,  as was feeling so ill, but didnt want to let the team and my lovely followers down, by not submitting my card. So I am sure I will be forgiven :), hey you lot not used to me remembering the numbers anyway LOL... 

As this post is going to be scheduled.... I am off to bed ... as I still am feeling pretty rough, thats 6 whole days now, think I need shooting ! .. and all I want to do is go and play... so unfair.. humph. 

Anyway, enough of me feeling sorry for self,.... I do hope you will all play along with us this week, and go check out the other DT's cards, they are all stunning.

and......... yet another male card !

Sorry still not about much, but still feeling pretty rough with this cold... it surely is taking its toll on me this week.. however, I am sure I will soon be back to normal... (that would make a nice change... hehe)... I think friends and family would agree..... normal and me do not go in same sentance. ! however.... :)

This is the last of the male cards I made before I 'took to my bed'... Just hope the image shows up well enough.. as it a very light 'sketch' type..  either that or I had printer on wrong setting lol..  Both the image and bp are once again off of the Jayne Netley Mayhew CD, all I have done is add a bit of funky fibre, and a little bit of mat and layering... job done.

Well lets be honest, how many men exactly, do you know, that would notice if we spent days or hours on a card??? I think the word... 'wasted' comes to mind... lol... or maybe... I just dont like making cards for blokeys... give me ribbons, bows, pretty things to play with, any day of the week.
and on that note.......... I am going to love and leave you... as I have LOTS of lovely new things to play with, that have been coming through my door this past week, ALL still in their wrappers... (gawd, I must have been ill) !...
even though my head is still pounding like a bass drum, I desperately want to go and play ... maybe two more paracetamol and a likkle lie down first... and I might be able to get out the copics... or at least run my new dies through the CB...   oh this will give you a giggle.... (thank goodness I don't have to worry about explaining to a hubby on this one) ! (and son doesnt read my blog, so I safe LOL)...(welllllll men just DON'T understand).... but... got an order for a wedding card (yes I KNOW I need to make one for son too)... and had idea of what wanted to put on front.... but.... well... did not have any heart dies.... so... one card to order...probably get a few quid for it....and what do I do... go and spend a whole lot more on buying dies for it !!!! lol... but, in my defense Your Honour..... I have been wanting these for MONTHS.... so felt like I had good excuse now LOL... and that excuse... retail therpy.. hehe...  saved a fortune on food shopping, cos not been eating much and not gone to shops yet... so it swings and roundabouts ah ! :)  there, justified it to myself, so that fine. lol..

Out of my sick bed.....

Sorry been awol... but have a really good reason ... been  very, very sicky poorly...

Darling granddaughter decided to share ... or leave behind...her germs... so Monday, Tuesday and most of Wed... I have been in bed, banging head, chills, sweats, sore throat, snotty nose, glands up like golf balls, and totally exhausted... What young Ruby just seemed to... shrug off ... hit me like a sack of potatoes, ..(thats old age for you!)

Needless to say.. no crafting has been done... couldnt even drag self into craft room next door.. if I had wanted to.   Hardly even had puter on past 4 days either.. just seemed to hurt my head and eyes more... .. anyways... luckily, I had made this for an order last week,, but had not got around to putting on blog..

I made the Cutie Pie girly one a little while back, and a friend said.. got one in blue ?? !!! yep... So here is Oh Boy, from Pink Gem, and hey get me... decoupage again :)...  Also, all the bp's  are from Pink Gem too... and can be found HERE...  few little gems, and matching ribbon... one baby card ready to go... all sounds so quick and easy, when I say it like that LOL..  Must admit, the Pink Gem images are really quick to cut out, and super cute too. :)..

Hopefully I will be back tomorrow with something, I do have one more male card made up from the Jayne N. Mayhew CD, so if all else fails, I will pop that on.... I am today, just beginning to get withdrawels from my copics and crafting... so must be feeling slightly better :)

Another Male card

Good morning all.... I have finally managed to shift granddaughter off of computer long enough to do a quick posting....  that will teach me lol...

This is another image from the Jayne Netley Mayhew cd, and papers from Papermania (I think).. All I have done to the images is a quick dab over with some distress ink, Just not got much imagination when it comes to blokey cards.... Think I need to spend some time blog hopping...:) need inspiration desperately.

Had to share this, as SO gobsmacked, sat here. ALL ALONE !!! ...  cos Xev dog, has done the disapprearing act.  Just cannot beleive it...  This is a dog that STICKS by my side better than .....................................RED DST ! .

I have a little visitor this evening...................... in the shape of a 4 year old angel... :) (I DONT DO KIDS.!!!! RITE ! ) ..   Little sweetie, went to bed at 7.30....................  where has dog been since 7.30 and a nano second???????????????????/ well not by my side that for sure !!!...

GOBSMACKED...   cos she 'guarding 'Angel'...  (or guardian angel??)   (even thou she would run a mile probably, is owt happened lol)... but.. she next to bed.. sleeping with one ear and one eye open.......... she NEVER.... does that ................. infact she NEVER goes in spare room !.............

A Gem of a Challenge - 16

Good morning all, todays starts a whole new challenge over at AGOAC blog and this week our lovely Jenny is hosting the challenge and has given us a fabby sketch to work with... nope Im NOT telling you how much I love sketches :)... cos you should all k now by now LOL...

We had a fantastic response to the last challenge, record enteries... lets see if we can beat it this time round. :) ...

I have used Baby Girl Bundle, and coloured with copics.. backing papers from the Kanban cd (again), had these printed out and in stash box, and wanted something delicate, so they fitted the bill perfectly,

However, had I not been lazy, and come down to get my lappy .... Janet at PG has some gorgeous papers too, so make sure you take a look see at those..ooh ohh while I think of it.... there is a sale on at Pink Gem so whilst you checking out the cute digi stamp I have used, plus the papers, it would be rude not to take a look when a SALE is on..:)... hehe.... yep things fell in my basket too... as they do.

Check out the other DT's cards too, they are GORGEOUS... what a talented bunch they are. :) and I have spotted something 'else'  I NEED to get... scrollie dies :) ... lol
You have two weeks to make something wonderful and join in the fun..... The DT just love looking at all your wonderful creations, and come on, lets see if we can beat the last challenge  numbers.

A quickie Card for a man

Good morning all,
Well for a change today... a quick male ish card. (yes I have actually made a male card...)  don't all fall over in shock :) You will be thrilled to know, this will be a very quick posting, as well as a very quick card LOL.

I have used Jayne Netleys cd for this one, and the Kanban cd for the bp's. (I still love the Kanban one, got to be one of my fav cds.  fabby backing papers on it, and in every colour of the rainbow., plus I adore gingham ... :)) so got to say it probably the most used cd I got. with just a little bit of faffing around with the Whimsy sentiment stamp...job done.
Yep you guess it, it for my 'table' this month... so now I have hundreds of cuties, ladies, and kiddies cards.... and........... all of TWO men's ! lol (might even be three ! LOL )...

Now have an order for a wedding card... so thinking hat on for that one, noooo it not for the 'royal' one lol... ooh actually, got TWO wedding cards to make.... and nooooo the second one NOT for the royal wedding either :).. So on that note... short and sweet posting for now... and back to my little den to play.  Have a fabby day all....

Good morning all.... another great day for the ducks !!! yep it raining.. AGAIN... However I have a lovely bright Spring like card to show you today, so I hope it brightens up a very gloomy day.

Whoopsie, this was the card  I was going to use for Rubys birthday card !!! ... as it really does remind me of her ... not that I saying my granddaughter has attitude of course !!!!! :)and guess who forgot they had made it in advance !!!! (even left a space to add the 4 LOL)..

A New KK challenge

Today starts a whole new challenge over at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge Blog, where,  I am sooooo chuffed to pancakes to be Team Leader of Team A... and this week it is our turn.. WOW girlz you so totally rocked this challenge )  can ya tell I hanging out with the Amercian gals a tad too much,  LOL)....  

Seriously.. well for two seconds.. (cos that all I can manage)... these girlz really are awesome.. I am so so proud to be their 'mammy'... yep.. sadly I probably old enough. ! lol...   ( but think they totally overtook me in the talent stakes) ! lol...

This week the challenge is a fabby sketch by our Rach... thanks hunny, its fab. I LOVE SKETCHES.. yeah ok, so you all probably fed up hearing that... lol, but it DOES take the hard work out of a card (and I know it not just me) lol..   I loved this one... and hope you all will too.. LORRA LORRA ENTERIES !!!

Well I am going to add two cards.. one today.. the one I put in for the challenge, and one tomorrow, the original one I put in the for the challenge... LOL...   cos............ wish I played Poker !!!!....  I made up a card, and when I was added to our little DT forum................ ok.. after.. (it takes a while !) lol... it hit me... Rach and myself had , not only added the same image (like we not got enough to chose from), but... had done the image in the same colourways.. just in the opposite !!  so.. as Rach was spot on the challenge and added her card DEAD EARLY ... .lol.. stupid here... done another one...

Skateboard Andy by Pink Gem

Sorry to folks should have added this yesterday, but.. another day went out the window... Have to admit to going up and down stairs most of day after taking a trip out.... managed to get some more storage units for my craft room, it finally beginning to take some shape.  Just wish I could afford all matching built in units .. however... cheap plastic storage from Asda will have to do the trick for now.. Least I am getting more organised bit by bit.. ooh I have so much stuff to pass over to little Ruby, she will be a happy girlie..

Todays card is a digi decoupage download from Pink Gem,  yep no coloring involved LOL.. so no copic numbers to remember :) thats a bonus in itself ... hehe.  Kept it nice and simple, as dont think the boyz need a lot of faffing... got to be one of the quickest cards I done in a while.  I did have the hump thou... as sat downstairs one evening cutting out all the bits.... and by the time I had taken it all back up to craft room... dogs head missing..  HOWEVER...... guess what I found yesterday whilst having a tidy up :)... so that will be stuck on later.

Once again, Janet has done a stirling job with this digi sheet, he is just soooo cute, and so easy to cut out too, This is a 'table' card, as did promise self I MUST do some male cards... 1 down... 49 to go.. lol or something like that.  be lucky to hit a dozen at this rate.  

Right onwards and upwards... didnt get as much done yesterday as should have, and got no option but to pull my finger out today.. :)   Dont forget girlz and boyz.... its a new Kenny K challenge starting tomorrow... and its Team A's turn... so that means me in charge again... Rubys Birthday Card

Morning all, hope you all having a fabby week.... I am not sure where time has gone at all ..... seem to be getting nowhere fast this week.     But DID manage to make a birthday card for my granddaughter Ruby, and once again, where did time go.. cannot beleive she is 4 years old today. (going on 24!) lol

I have used Joy, one of the Simply Adorable images by Sugar Nellie (can be found HERE at Funky Kits), and yes I think she is adorable.  She was sitting on my desk ready to be coloured up, and Rubys mum, spotted her and said... oooh that is Ruby.... so... say no more ! lol...   I have used Roo's fav colours of blue and pink, and lots of sparklies, maybe the papers are a little grown up for her, but all I could find in the colourways I wanted and PRETTY... :)...  she will be more made up that the card has her name on and her age I think LOL... or probably more interested in the box !!!! :)

Yes I have finally.... mastered making a box, that the lids fit hehe.... had a few more dummy runs... yep they went seriously array somewhere... still not quite sure how I manage to make them  NOT fit... however, after a lot of swearing and perserverance, I got there... easy when you know how ! lol

A Gem of a Challenge - 15

Another new challenge has started over at A Gem of A Challenge, and this fortnight the theme is  BUTTONS, BOWS, BEADS and BRADS...   you can use one, two, three or all...  (the all, is for the really clever ones amidst you ) LOL..   I wasn't quite that clever. ! But did manage 3 of them :)
The girlz, as always, have done a fabby job with the challenge....So please make sure you pop over to their blogs and take a look at their marvellous cards.  They truely are an inspiration.

For my card this week, I have used 'Moon Baby' who can be found HERE ,  how adorable is this.  Needless to say I have also coloured it up in blue as well, ready to go. :).. too cute beyond words.

With curly ribbon 'an all :)

Well the GHD's didnt come out... !!!! cos me and my ribbons got curly bits....  but.... as a good friend said... it gave the card some character ! LOL think she being EVER so polite.... (and YES, I will be straightening it before it goes out) !... But as I not posted for a day or two, I had to add this now, cos... batteries dead in camera... and need to go shopping !...  

I absolutely love these images.... and couldnt wait to get colouring them up, sadly... they been sat on desk a while, due to DT stuff going on.. well, ok.... just STUFF going on, but. finally got around to finishing off a card with at least one of them.
And with my fav color of the moment... turquoise...   
Been having a good ole sort out of craft room (trust me, there is still loads to be done) but... slowly but surely, finding bits I knew I had.... and wanted to use... plus (oh dear).. loads and loads of bits I know I will never use again, but.... cant get shot of....................... yet... watch this space lol..    You know the one, the bits you start out with, thinking.. oooh lubbly jubbly.... then a year up the line think OMG.. whatever was I thinking !.  needless to say, I will have one very happy granddaughter in a while... (when I finally get around to parting with said items).  and NO... SHE STILL NOT HAVING MY FELT PENS. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (copics !!!!) LOL yep little Roo is STILL dying to get her likkle mitts on those... such pretty colours Nannie ...  yep.. and you got SAME colours in your pens hunny.... Noooo Nannie not same !!! .... yes says Nannie, they SO are !!! lol...
Well as this is a scheduled posting, it WELL past my bedtime.... you going to have to grin and bear it with lack of info .. sorreeeeeeee...  but .. it is nearly the weekend.. AND.... AGOAC will have lots of info for you.. and I cant take too much excitement in one week ! LOL    
They BG's if that helps ! lol... and likkle numbers... at the moment that is as much as I can remember... ok ok... so I opened theThursday bottle of vino calapso a day early... but.. I have had a very stressful week............    SOME SILLY BEGGER... sent me off on a wild goose chase.. (think he called it ........................therepy)...
needless to say, my nerves are shot to bits. ! hence the corkscrew came out . !  
On that note... think I best hit the sack.. post this and... get organised with proper details of next card tomorrow. !.. well could be the day after ! lol... 
My New years reso.. of... MUST GET MORE ORGANISED... is well.... maybe a tad early for 2012 ! cos it sure not taking place this year as yet. ! LOL
