BearlyMine Challenge

Good morning to you all.  Today is the start of the first challenge of the year over at BearlyMine Inspiration and Challenge Blog... (did you spot the difference??) ... There have been some changes made by the Boss Donna, and we are now becoming an Inspiration Blog as well as changing the weekly challenge to a monthly challenge, if you pop over , all should lol, become clear...ish..  If it isnt, you can all blame me lol

For this month, the Challenge will be a colour inspiration, chosen by moi :).

I have chosen Summers Roses and Mini Dots, both from BearlyMine Designs, and a freebee image I come across and fell in love with, my ArtbyMiran.

I have used copics, numbers as follows,

As one door shuts..............

Whoop whoop.... I was taken on with Scrappers Delights, for their New Releases team, before I had started, I was.... not sacked, but promoted... to Colorist... how flipping fab is that,   I do have to say, I am a tad out of practice where the copics are concerned, but... but  I know it will all come back soon... and the sooner the better lol.

Janice has, and is creating some super wonderful /gorgeous images, well up my street,  and I can't wait to park my backside in my craft room and continue to colour up her images....  The Challenge blog, can be found HERE, I look forward to popping by, when you add your cards to the next challenge.

Lets Celebrate Christmas :)

Whilst blog hopping last night, I come across this little beauty :) Flurry, by Lacy Sunshine . and ... by skin of teeth, am just about to enter in this weeks challenge with her, which is Celebrate.  I h ave to say, its the quickest I have made a card, as they are also having a GDT spot, which I thought I would enter.    The card looks a bit bare to me,, lol, as usually I put more on, but... time was/is of the essence.

Yoohoo

Yes I know, I have been a bad blogger of late, only doing the necessaries... ie... my DT spot on BearlyMine Challenges and pretty much, not much more, but that is one of my next years resolutions to get back to a bit more blogging...   

I have been jewellery making, card reading, card making, looking after granddaughter, poorly doggie, visiting friends etc... so a pretty busy time these last few months, but... I hope to be a little more organised next year... lol... says she. !!!!  I will try... I promise lol..

In the mean time... I have also been extremely lucky, to have been published twice now, in Making Cards, with another project in the making for next year... :) a very happy bunny... :)  so... to round up and tie up a few lose ends for the end of year... here are a few of my favourite things from 2013............  I hope you enjoy ... even if just a little bit... :)

BearlyMine challenge

Where on earth did the past two weeks go??? I don't think I been hibernating lol....  so much for showing you all what else I been up to... must try and do this week... .nothing to do with cards !!! 

However, for now, a brand new challenge is starting today, over at BearlyMine Challenges, and this week its the all time favourite of

ANYTHING GOES, 

just as well, as I still well behind with Chrimbo cards, so an ideal time to use some of the gorge papers from Donna, at BMD, links given below.

Sorry I have been awol again, but been on Nannie duties and jaunting off, and..... opps I caught a bug.. not the cold or flu sort, but.. the jewellery sort.... !!! yep I finally succumbed to it... lol.. but I will save all that for another day.. today is all about the brand new challenge over at Bearly Mine challenges.....

I so nearly used the very same image as another member of the team, but I wasn't happy with the way it was turning out lol, so took a different approach..

 

I used an old stamp I had, that, tbh has not seen the light of day much and defo not recently, and just thought it would be a nice change from my usual cuties..

I have used Simply Dots and Mini Dots, both by Bearly Mine Designs, as I didnt want too much going on with backing papers etc. but thought these two fitted the colourways and what I had in mind, beautifully.    So easy to print out exactly the right colour with so many choices with these Digi sets.  I used a die and doily from stash, computer generated sentiment and copics to colour up image.

and some orange lol...

Bearly Mine Challenge 106

Good morning all... well... today I start back as Team Leader for Team B, on Bearly Mine Challenges... :) (Just hope I have done the first posting properly, rofl.... as there has been a few, technical hitches... ok.. Jackie hitches, along the way ... opppsey).
Just as well Donna got the patience of a Saint, cos she needs to have with me at the helm again lol..... so firstly, if you don't already know, we are on the look out for a couple or 3 more DT members, so if you are going to take part in this weeks challenge and would like to a chance to join the rest of us nutters on the team,... put DT after your name when you add your project/card, and you never know it could be you :)

Yes I used copics and no, I cannot rememeber what ! lol... been a long while since I have let the side down, cant have you all thinking I finally cracked it lol.  I found some black fibres and basically played ... letters cut from very old die set.  so all in all.. not a lot of help this week.. other than.... the fabby papers, and I ALWAYS, know where they come from lol...

Bearly Mine Challenge 104

Morning all, how pretty does that look above :)   

Well its two fabby bits of good news today, firstly.... a brand new challenge has begun over at BearlyMine challenges, and for this next week, with Team B hosting, we have the monthly sketch for you. created by de Boss, Donna :)

Here is my card, for this challenge, but I have to admit, I feel as thought I have cheated.... I totally run out of time, and so didnt get to colouring up an image... there fore... hangs head in shame..... resorted to a topper, by Hunkydory, that I got free in a mag.... I know, smacking wrists as I type lol...   I very nearly didnt get to make one at all... so think yourselves lucky ROFLMAO... I do apologise... (but what I dont get is, why do I feel as thought I have cheated???, as I know, thousands of peeps use toppers all the time... really don't understand why I feel bad.. answers on a postcard me thinks ;) )

(bonus side, at least I dont have to remember which copics I used lol).

I have... finally.. had something published... yay... get me... I am totally and utterly gobsmacked and thrilled to bits..... ESPECIALLY...... as ... I have also been invited back to do more projects for Making Cards Magazine... I think I have just about come back down to earth... lol.. for a quick glimpse and teaser, the Mag came out last Friday......

 

 

So... if you see one of the mags saying... send your cards in.... go for it....... cos thats all I done , well and kept my fingers and toes crossed for a while lol.... ...

DP2 Challenge

Good afternoon all, Im back from my latest jaunt :) and armed with a few cards to show for it, my friend Debs is a hard task master... cracking the whip to keep me busy LOL.

I have made this card to enter into the challenge over at DP2, also there is a GDT call , which I am going to try for also. Its an 'anything goes' theme, so nice and easy :)

I have used 'Sadie with Apples', but as I cannot find her in the SHOP, I guess she is out of commission now. Trust me to use an old digi image lol.. oh dear. ! Either that or I need to go back and complain at Specsavers lol.

Good morning all crafters and, yes, its that time again for Team B to host the new challenge, that starts today for the next week, over at BearlyMine Challenges.

Nice easy one for everyone to follow this week, and it always takes the hard work out of the thinking process :) I like easy. lol

Its our monthly sketch for you all .

As Donna at Bearly Mine Designs has just brought out another set of Steampunk Fantasy (2), I have used these papers for this challenge along with a fabby image by KennyK called Brianna Blaster .

dull gold mirror card, as trying to match up what was on the digi papers, :) clocks, from a scrap of paper i had lurking,  :) and as for the sentiment.. um... maybe not so fitting now I see it on the card... night need to change that.. but, time and patience was running out, and I was losing the will to live by the time I had got to that bit, (as someone... namely me)... didnt look at the sketch properly and forgot it had  a sentiment !!! oppps lol... I wont go into all the other 'wrongs' I had to put right on this one LOL...
