Bearly Mine Challenge 104

Morning all, how pretty does that look above :)   

Well its two fabby bits of good news today, firstly.... a brand new challenge has begun over at BearlyMine challenges, and for this next week, with Team B hosting, we have the monthly sketch for you. created by de Boss, Donna :)

Here is my card, for this challenge, but I have to admit, I feel as thought I have cheated.... I totally run out of time, and so didnt get to colouring up an image... there fore... hangs head in shame..... resorted to a topper, by Hunkydory, that I got free in a mag.... I know, smacking wrists as I type lol...   I very nearly didnt get to make one at all... so think yourselves lucky ROFLMAO... I do apologise... (but what I dont get is, why do I feel as thought I have cheated???, as I know, thousands of peeps use toppers all the time... really don't understand why I feel bad.. answers on a postcard me thinks ;) )

(bonus side, at least I dont have to remember which copics I used lol).

I have... finally.. had something published... yay... get me... I am totally and utterly gobsmacked and thrilled to bits..... ESPECIALLY...... as ... I have also been invited back to do more projects for Making Cards Magazine... I think I have just about come back down to earth... lol.. for a quick glimpse and teaser, the Mag came out last Friday......

 

 

So... if you see one of the mags saying... send your cards in.... go for it....... cos thats all I done , well and kept my fingers and toes crossed for a while lol.... ...

DP2 Challenge

Good afternoon all, Im back from my latest jaunt :) and armed with a few cards to show for it, my friend Debs is a hard task master... cracking the whip to keep me busy LOL.

I have made this card to enter into the challenge over at DP2, also there is a GDT call , which I am going to try for also. Its an 'anything goes' theme, so nice and easy :)

I have used 'Sadie with Apples', but as I cannot find her in the SHOP, I guess she is out of commission now. Trust me to use an old digi image lol.. oh dear. ! Either that or I need to go back and complain at Specsavers lol.

Good morning all crafters and, yes, its that time again for Team B to host the new challenge, that starts today for the next week, over at BearlyMine Challenges.

Nice easy one for everyone to follow this week, and it always takes the hard work out of the thinking process :) I like easy. lol

Its our monthly sketch for you all .

As Donna at Bearly Mine Designs has just brought out another set of Steampunk Fantasy (2), I have used these papers for this challenge along with a fabby image by KennyK called Brianna Blaster .

dull gold mirror card, as trying to match up what was on the digi papers, :) clocks, from a scrap of paper i had lurking,  :) and as for the sentiment.. um... maybe not so fitting now I see it on the card... night need to change that.. but, time and patience was running out, and I was losing the will to live by the time I had got to that bit, (as someone... namely me)... didnt look at the sketch properly and forgot it had  a sentiment !!! oppps lol... I wont go into all the other 'wrongs' I had to put right on this one LOL...

BearlyMIne Challenge 96

Good morning all from a fabby hot and sunny Kent... ooh I love this weather... and a good excuse NOT to do that swear word, called H....Work :) cos  it far too hot to be test driving a dyson around the lounge :) thats my excuse and I am sticking to it LOL.  I hope you are all getting a piece of the sunshine too :)

So... its that time again, my goodness this fortnight has shot by... I just don't know where my days go... and its challenge time (Team B this week),  over at BearlyMine Challenges, and its a favourite one for all of you that take part... its an.... ANYTHING GOES challenge :)

 

This was meant to have a 'new home' sentiment on it... as my DD has just moved into her first  own house :)  but looks like I need to buy a stamp .. oh dear.... and time run out before she was due at mine, before I could print one out... last min.com as per usual lol... and yes, I have known about the move for about 5 months LOL...   I did however find a Home sweet home stamp for inside... and yes, I forgot to take a picture of that lol..   Anyway, I thought this cute little Penny Black stamp was ideal, cos he looks right at home in that flower pot LOL..

I have used Spring Blossoms and Simply dots both by BearlyMine Designs... however, when I printed off the 'dot' paper,, I didnt check my settings properly ... opps so they are a bit distorted, but never to waste a print off... I decided to use anyway.. lol... well.. its different LOL...    flowers are all from stash, and the cute pink ones are actually buttons ... . 

Copics used to colour as always nowdays... (really must have a bash at water colouring again) :)...

On a roll.... well almost :)

Really 'pushing the boat out' :) scuse the pun... thought would have another go at 'my less is.....hard work' lol... I am really struggling with these LIM cards... but I am persevering at the moment.  Least I can still play with my copics :)

Have not only decided to try out new things re card design, but digging out my old stamps also.. bout time they earned their storage space :)

I have to say, that the colours are a lot more vibrant in real life, I should have taken a better photo and edited it better... oh well,, you get the 'drift'....

A far cry from my 'norm'

I do hope that everyone is enjoying the beautiful sunshine at the moment :) Ive just popped in from the garden for 5 mins cool down and a drink... then Im back to make the most of  it while it lasts :)

I was set a challenge by a good friend of mine, after I complained I felt all my cards lately have been very samey samey.... and even I was getting a bit fed up with them, let alone anyone that pops onto my blog, so.... her challenge was.... and boy this this TOUGH for me.... no more than one D.P, ...... and a simple card. !!!

Ok.... so... thinking cap on... .brainache laters..... ;)...  and lots of touchy feely of nearby papers... lol.... I did actually cut one out ready to use... but wayhey..... I didn't use it :) get me... :)   I also thought it would be a chance to use an old stamp that hasn't seen the light of day in a long time. (probably because I find this particular one so hard to colour up).  Anyway.... this is what I came up with.... be interesting to hear your thoughts on this one, as, I did say... its way off course for me. (and yes , I did find it VERY difficult) !!!! lol

Good morning all... well for the first time in days.... the sun has finally poked its nose out of the clouds.. albeit... just a little bit.... the weather has been awful... and to think we nearly in July... oh dear !!!!
