Little bit of paper piecing.

 

 

Thought I would try something a bit different again,..... :) This card has been moved all around my desk for weeks now, just waiting to be finished off... finally !!!! hurrah... it come together. 

 

This has still got to be one of my fav stamps, had it ... a few years, but still love it...  I not only paper pieced this image, but also decoupaged it as well.. hey get me lol.. (only by mistook I hasten to add). :) 

 

 

the image is by Sarah Kay, the little tag is a freebee from a magazine.. as is the yellow backing paper,  Simply Dots by Bearly Mine Designs,  Lace, pearls, brads and Flowers from stash, three lilac paper flowers at bottom by Fred She Said.

Well with that done and finally finished, time to have a good clear up... again, of my craft room... and onto my next project.

Bearly Mine Challenge 76

Back again with a brand new challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenges.  This week it is the turn of  Team B and the theme is..  MOTHERS DAY.

I tried to steer clear of  my copics... !!! but, as you can see from above, it did not work LOL... I did however make the card directly below first.... but.... withdrawals for the alcohol (pens in this instance) :).. got the better of me... so made another card.  One to send, and one to give to my granddaughter for her mummy.  

For this one I used Shabby Vintage and Simply Dots by Bearly Mine Designs,  flower decoupage from stash, and computer generated sentiment.  The inside is decorated to match the front :) (yeah get me lol).

Bearly Mine Challenge 74

Good morning from a freezing cold Kent... but I think the sun is trying to break through... so rumor has it :)   I have had a toot week.. evicting unwanted house guests, who decided my airing cupboard was a much warmer place to sleep than the fields... no pay .. no stay....    Also my poor mutly dawg, had to have a few toothies out.. but, has come out of it far better than I did lol... my nerves have been shattered to say the least... but ... apart from now having a dodgy phone line... all is gradually getting better !!!!  Thankfully.   as have my deadlines with Design Team work, and need to get back to my craft room. Luckily.. this card was made well in advance,  a first for me LOL...

So onto this weeks challenge at Bearly Mine Challenges, and the theme for this week is

RIBBONS, LACE, TWINE...

(and apparently you can use, one, two or three of them for your card, I do wish someone had pointed that out to me at the time !!! ROFLMAO, spot the twine !!!!! ).. A just because card :)

 

Afternoon all from a very dismal and wet Kent.. :(    Thought I had already added this card to blog.. opps... oh well, better late than never. I actually made it for a DT card, then realised I had not read the destructions correctly lol  so it become a just because card. :) 

 

 

The image is by Sarah Kay, and oldie but I was rummaging through my stash, and realised just how many of my stamps had only been used a couple of times, and also, just how long ago that was.. So.. this year I have decided to try and get a bit more useage out of them.  Or , what is the point buying use once, and store?  I do think the introduction of more and more digis is half the problem, too many to blooming choose from, thats my trouble... spoilt for choice lol.

Yep.... cant stay away from them, lol.... or my love of  Tilda.   Thought I would have another bash at trying out pleats... have to say, I am rather pleased with my efforts this time. :) whether I will manage to get them nearly right again, is anyones guess LOL. 

 

However, it does look like she been for a spray tan !!.. went a tad heavy handed with the make up lol.. I have a feeling I picked up the wrong E number :( opps.  oh well... looks a bit like Dale Winton, but never mind  (not quite as bad in real life).. the face that is, not Dale lol.

Another baby card

 

Baby card for daughters HO, she takes some up to be sold now and again, and decoupage can be done so much quicker than me colouring up an image !... 

Have to admit this is one of my favourite baby designs.,, and yes it comes in both flavours lol.

 

 

Still finding anything but a square card strange now, yet used to make this size all the time. 

Papers are from stash, computer generated sentiment, .  Not much I can say really... as for the Stork, had that image for as long as I can remember.

Have to admit, I dont find making deco cards half as exciting as colouring up an image etc, but, sometimes needs must,  Will be back tomorrow with a coloured image and card :)... and I am now back off to the craft room to play some more... yep you got it.. with my copics... the images are beginning to pile up... but not so much card making going on lol.... as for inserts... I wont swear LOL...  but I feel I will need a do to do those too soon... oooh sooo boring that bit.

wedding card.

Just made this one, for the box, as they say. Had the image coloured up for ages, just didnt know what to do with it. Then decided to sort some of my stash out... and opps had totally forgotten I had this butterfly die, so that sort of put the theme there for me,  cut from parchment, with pearls added, managed to find some butterfly paper as well... and there you have it... card sorted.. ish :)

Bearly Mine Challenge Card

 

A new challenge starts today, over at BearlyMine challenges,  and this week B Team has the theme of.. Tic Tac Toe.. no... that does not mean you all have to go around thre living room hop, skipping and jumping lol... :)  I have to admit, this was a new one to me... and did have to ask.... so to make it clear to any others that have not come across it before.. you pick a line of 4... up , down, vertical, horizontal, corner to corner, etc... and add all the elements to a card.. simples  :)   Also, a bit of fabby news, as some of you know I was Guest Designer for a few months, then was asked to stay on , whilst one of our team members was poorly, get well soon Gina. xx, and now... well I am a permanent fixture of Team B, been asked to stay on as a fully fledged Team Member,... yes i am chuffed to bits :) I did so miss being on the team.. so one likkle happy bunny :)

Black and White.

 

Good Morning all, I do hope that you are all staying warm and safe.  My goodness we have had some snow.  As pretty as it is, it does bring everything to a bit of a standstill.  However, on a good note, it means I get to play more in my craft room. :)

 

Todays card, is as per... toot on the photography, I was sick and tired of trying to NOT get the silvery throw back on the skirt and legs, looks like she got cellulite LOL,  yep you all going to be looking more closely now, aren't you ! lol

 

 

However, after practically losing the will to live on this one, I have posted as is..

Again, another card, with blokes in mind, good ole KennyK,, come up trumps again, for the image, papers are from stash, I THINK, both the checks they maybe old Joanna Sheen papers, but I cannot be sure. and the grey... was from a cd... again at bottom of box, as it wasnt meant to be this colour roflmao... someone had forgotton to turn the colour back on, on the printer... but I kept it anyways, just incase, ! (hate waste).... so please I did now, as went brill with this.

Yep, back again..

 

Must be the snow... lol... but back again today with another recently made card,. 

 

This image  is from The Clipart Fairy, so not a copic in sight this time.  I was asked to make some large baby cards, for an office, so this was ideal, as managed to get it on an 8 x 8" , knew I would struggle with colouring up a larger image and filling in the spaces, lol  for that,. so cheated, yep, I still think if I have printed out a coloured digi, I have cheated. ¬!

Please go over and check out the store, as there are some fantastic images there... get your pennies at the ready... as you will fall in love with so many of them.

There is some decoupage going on, honest, but as per, my photography is not showing it up,   This card didn't even manage to make it as far as the 'box' lol...  Papers are by Bearly Mine Designs    Ginghams and microdots.  Sentiment computer generated.

Bearly Mine Challenge card

Good  morning to all you wonderful crafters.  I hope that you are all keeping warm and safe... and are nearly if not all, ready for Christmas.:) (I bet, if you are anything like me, there will be dozens of you still in the rabbit in headlights mode... rofl...know what you need to do... but havent moved to do it).. I havent done a nything more than make most of my Xmas cards and send off.   How bad is that !?   a nd, now to cap it all off, I have a face that would scare children... more so than normal, as have got an abcess .. and look like a squirrel that is storing a whole winter supply in one sound of  mouth !!!! ouch and grrr.   so lets move onto something  NICE ! lol

Bearly Mine challenge.

Good morning campers. Sorry I have been mia again... I have made so many Christmas cards, and not thought about adding to my blog... as my gorge granddaughter would say.. 'silly nannie'.   I must get my rear end in gear and start sorting my blog out again...  I do apologise.

However, today,, (dare not forget this one) lol... There is a brand new challenge starting over at Bearly Mine Challenges and the theme for this week is SANTA IS ON HIS WAY.. (and don't we know it!) I cannot believe how close we are to the C word. Donna has kindly let me be Guest Designer again this week.. she is a glutten for punishment lol xx thank you Donna. x
