Gorgeous gal whos not !.. shes an Anya LOL

Had this image copic'd up for agggggesss.. and just not got around to doing anything with her.. even deco'd basket and hair... (might do a bit more of that in future). :) Had trouble finding the right papers to match.... I really must get into the habit of picking the papers first, then colouring in the image accordingly. ! .. (she says !) lol... Used crused glass glitter on the main flower, papers from stash, think one might be K & Co... lol... I am totally useless with knowing the names of my stuff... i buy it and 'file' it... so who made it doesnt come into the equasion lol..
Spent a lot of time today making up a challenge card, ready to show you tomorrow... only to realise I cant do it yet lol... so you will have to wait until Monday for that one... Its different !!!! lol
right so back to my craft room again to get a card up and going for you to have a looksee tomorrow .... Have a good evening all....

Chrimbo card... quick and easy.

Yeah ok.. so its only my............. 4th Chrimbo card... lol... but you know me... last min dash.. and I guess it will be again this year.. so much for my new year resolution of.. one xmas card a week... humph... maybe next year? ! lol....
bought this stamp at Ally Pally at the weekend, cos I a sucker for cute.. (but dont tell no one. ! ) lol.. got to keep up with my street cred and all that. Used my holly rollergraph from SU, and hunter green ink (from same).. made a 'pocket' for the tag, used .. oh surprise surprise, copics for teddy.. and pointsettias from Ally Pally, Hobby House... (Bev I blame you... again lol)... hehe. oh and nesties... this really was a quick and easy card... as I am still plowing my way through the housework and mess ... getting there slowly, very slowly.. well, whats the rush? still be there tomorrow.. :) Just waiting for my washing machine to go on strike... omg.. if that happens... OCD OCD.. lol... white or not so white sofas.... stripped and ready to go next... Im tired even thinking about the am ount of cleaning I still got to do.. oh well.... never mind ah... still found time to sit in craft room and create lol... needs must and all that... :)

Hippy Chick

Afternoon all... sorry I'm a bit late in posting this weeks fabby challenge from Digi Ink Co.. But... you know me... always late for everything :).
I am just LOVING being part of 'Boni and Judy's' Team, and all the fabulous designs I get to play with, (plus such wonderful feed back on my creations,.. thanks girls.) But.. with designs like this... how can anyone go wrong?... with my increasing American lingo, coming on a treat LOL... these digi images are just plain AWESOME ...
So onto this weeks challenge.... its a color one (opps American spelling too lol)... Now... Im slightly colour blind, Boni wears bi focals, some of the rest of the DT's computers obviously showing up different... so... rofl... this has been a blast trying to get the same colours going on, on our cards.. so... if they are all looking slightly different in tone or hue.. thats the reason. so just get them as near as you can... and we can't wait to see what you come up with this week... be nice to see lots of fabby enteries as us DT's love to view your wonderful creations.

The Rules are.... any design, any sketch/map, use the colours... burgandy, mint/aqua and navy/dark blue.. (this is how I see the colours rofl, so you can all blame me if colour wrong :))

We have used an image from Stitchy Stamps, (which can be found in the Shoppe) called Hippy Chick, we just all love her.. the prize this week for the winning card is.... Honey, by BearyDust Designs. (yep told you lot to keep an eye open this week for some news on Honey !!!)... so.. off you go girls and get creating.. :) x
For my card, I have coloured the image with copics, and as usual, forgot to write down the numbers lol.. opps again... and as for what backing papers I used... not a clue, as it from my huge stash mountain bit boxes.. made the tag myself, added some funky fibre (well hippy and funky just go together don't they?) some prima flowers and brads from stash.

Now for a bit of news.... we, at Digi Ink, are having a blog hop on 2nd October , which will run through until the 8th October, we HOPe you can join us and play along, as there will be prizes to be had !!.... so... mark this on your calenders, diaries or whatever, but just be there and have some fun..

Coloured with copics... again... mat and layered, bit of ribbon and a bow and put onto, I think, Kanban cardstock.. ! (please don't quote me on that last bit) lol Anyway, a quick and easy card to make... if you take out the time it takes me to colour one image lol... but when all the chaos surrounds me..... :) is that a quote from somewhere? who knows.. anyways... here it is !

FINALLY got into my craft room today.... I've missed it sooooo much... place looks like a bombs hit it now mind, but ho hum... lol (goes with rest of house just now)... Roll on Saturday........... whoop whoop.. opps sorry, am I not meant to sound quite so pleased that my daughter, granddaughter, 2 labradors and a partridge in a pear tree are all moving out of my very small, very messy abode?????? so that I can once again restore it to its former clean, tidy self... white sofas,? what are they then? cos I ve two black ones where they used to be in the loung e!!!!! as for garden.. well Buzz thought he heard that his uncle Matt was off to Austraila.. so he been seeing if he can dig there quicker than Matt can fly !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i could bury a hippo in there now, and we wouldnt know !

No. 3and 4 for LaPashe Xmas Cards

Last two cards made from deco sheets from LaPashe.... finally used some lovely card that my good friend Greta gave me.... ouch that hurt to cut into that ! lol... on the Three wise Men...
For the Mother and Child, I used a paper from a craft mag, not sure which one, :), and added gold stickles to it, girl has got to have a bit of bling at Chrimbo, and stamped the corners and added some gems.
Right, off to sort out my other DT stuff now... its all go you know... :).. Hopefully might even get around to making a card .. or....I might even get around to looking at my Robo manual ! ... a girl can live in hope !!! lol But I do think one more day on puter sorting, and I am there.. (mind you, I got a vague feeling I said that yesterday LOL).... where does time go when you having fun ! (or not as the case was... been have puter probs again)... thanks Lynn for helping me out... (AGAIN ROFL)... xx

Digital-Ink Challenge....

Way to go gals....... Fabby new challenge this week over at Digi-Ink. This week we have a receipe challenge..... 3 - 2 - 1 .... are you ready to get creating?... The challenge is to use..... 3 brads/buttons or eyelets and two designer papers. The DT's were asked to use a design from Beary Dust.... thank you so much, cos I just love this image. I also used my MS punch, and some paper by SU, and pink check from stash,. You have chance of winning some super images from April Reece Designs called Gone Swimming.

Another Christmas LaPashe card

Nearly back in the land of the living... lol.... had such a hectic day yesterday, .. but nearly there now, it's amazing just how much catching up you have to do when you have a few days away.

I have finished all my LaPashe cards, so here is another one for today, The Angel Gabriel, my fav.. I have made this a spinner card, added a vellum panel to top and used one of the new CB folders., please check out the other DTM's blogs, links in side bar... as I know they have made some fabby cards. I'm back - and the new Christmas LaPashe sheets

Im back from my jaunt... had fabby time with Lynn and hubby Mike, met up with lots of lovely people... just a shame weather not so brill, but, just meant had to spend hours and hours in the craft room, learning how to use Wills lol.... got home, to power cuts ... tried three times to print out the Robo manual.... will try again later.

Got stuck straight into the new Christmas sheets from LaPashe. All the new ones have a religious theme, so if you would like to pop over to Jak, Karen and Toni's blogs, you can see what they have been up to with them.. My fav image and backing sheet is the Angel Gabriel.. which I will have to show you tomorrow,... as need new batteries in camera. typical ah !!! lol... til then here is my take on the Holy Bible decoupage. I reckoned the Vicar/Priest would be stood at the Altar reading to his congregation... therefore 'we' would see the outside of the Bible. Either way round, it looks fabby. (sorry about awful photography on the inside of the card. )

sorry this is short and sweet... but still million and one things to do... and Roo sitting at mo as well... lost a dog,(Stacy taken 3 or them out for walk), but gained a granddaughter lol... not sure who got the better deal here, me or Stacy lol...

Suddenly struck me earlier, I didnt remember putting on my 'something slightly different card' so before I go finish packing, and try and get a reasonable sleep... (dog permitting) ! or not, as case probably is... here is my... watercoloured, tilda, with backing paper, dont know who by, but cut out the butterflies from a second sheet and decoupaged them ...
right thats me done, defo this time lol... just when you thought you seen the back of me hehe...

The Day has arrived !

Digital Ink Challenge Co. starts today.... so get over there and join in the fun.
(you will have to wait approx 5 hours lol.) as Boni is still in bed in USA at mo, and I'm only up under duress... Good morning all
Well, as you should know by now... (if not, why not) ! lol.... I am delighted to be on the new up and coming (DT) for Digital Ink challenge blog, and this is one of the many images you can purchase from them... I fell in love with this one the minute I saw it, and couldnt wait to play... yes I know she is called 'sad girl' by Designs by Sue, which can be found in the DigiInk Store ....... but to me she looks like she just been caught out doing something she shouldnt lol... as in 'OPPS'.... lol and reminds me of my granddaughter(Roo) .
I'm still playing , learning and practicing with my copics.. but think I need a course.. maybe I need to go to USA to have one ! LOL.. well I am going to Spain to learn how to use Will.... sorry, Robo.. Robbie.. ok.... so its a Robo machine, which most normal !!! peeps call Robbie... . and me, being me, and slightly ...erm... different.. :)... Robbie + Williams... + Will he or wont he (work)... mines called Will lol ..LOOK, I do have a Satnav called Norman, (Navman) so what else do you expect ?? LOL anyways, I digress.... copics... image... CARD !!! finally got to have a play yesterday.. and this is what I come up with... its very................ Gorjuss in Blue

A bit of watercolouring and a bit of copics on this one, I wasnt happy with the way the hair was in water colour, so went over in copics.. getting too used to the bolder look I think. :) although I did manage to achieve the look I wanted with the dress.
Got something a little different to show you tomorrow.. just debating whether to add a sentiment to it or not...
Off to do some decorating today, as daughter is due back and I not done anything down the house this week... ohhh will I be in heap big trouble... so best I go down and do something for her.. Have been waiting on the plasterer to finish thou.. in my defence lol...
As for the update on the wildlife here..... plug in music makers, cos Im sure thats what it is... (sposed to be hi pitched noise to deter mice)... is NO T working... infact I think they like it, so much so, they bringing friends in now for a party !!!! I am NOT happy... they will soon be totally evicted when have kitchen ripped out (if it ever happens)... and all holes will be filled and no hiding places ie under stairs cupboards and such, cos I having thou ripped out too. Its a bit of an ongoing saga with this kitchen.... one day she says, one day... it will happen. I thought there was a recession and builders etc all looking for work !!!!! obviously cant be that bad cos I having probs getting quotes, never mind having the work done. glad I off to Spain next week... see how real people live in real houses, with proper kitchens and NO MICE !!! lol..
Can you tell I just a tad cheesed off... no pun there either !!!! they prefer dogs biscuits !! lol

Thought I would get busy in the craft room while I can... as not long now before I jet off for a few days break... (I can not wait.... getting excited now) :), and got HEAPS to do before I go.. last min as usual lol.. Hopefully all will go ok and I will get everything sorted... probably by skin of teeth as always ! .

But, today I will put one of my own cards on.. made this for a friend who done me a lovely favour.. cant say name, cos not sent it yet !! lol... Used copics on this one ... just for a change lol.. but I have got a waterpainted one coming up. Pluus I did a card combining both.
