Hippy Chick

Afternoon all... sorry I'm a bit late in posting this weeks fabby challenge from Digi Ink Co.. But... you know me... always late for everything :).
I am just LOVING being part of 'Boni and Judy's' Team, and all the fabulous designs I get to play with, (plus such wonderful feed back on my creations,.. thanks girls.) But.. with designs like this... how can anyone go wrong?... with my increasing American lingo, coming on a treat LOL... these digi images are just plain AWESOME ...
So onto this weeks challenge.... its a color one (opps American spelling too lol)... Now... Im slightly colour blind, Boni wears bi focals, some of the rest of the DT's computers obviously showing up different... so... rofl... this has been a blast trying to get the same colours going on, on our cards.. so... if they are all looking slightly different in tone or hue.. thats the reason. so just get them as near as you can... and we can't wait to see what you come up with this week... be nice to see lots of fabby enteries as us DT's love to view your wonderful creations.

The Rules are.... any design, any sketch/map, use the colours... burgandy, mint/aqua and navy/dark blue.. (this is how I see the colours rofl, so you can all blame me if colour wrong :))

We have used an image from Stitchy Stamps, (which can be found in the Shoppe) called Hippy Chick, we just all love her.. the prize this week for the winning card is.... Honey, by BearyDust Designs. (yep told you lot to keep an eye open this week for some news on Honey !!!)... so.. off you go girls and get creating.. :) x
For my card, I have coloured the image with copics, and as usual, forgot to write down the numbers lol.. opps again... and as for what backing papers I used... not a clue, as it from my huge stash mountain bit boxes.. made the tag myself, added some funky fibre (well hippy and funky just go together don't they?) some prima flowers and brads from stash.

Now for a bit of news.... we, at Digi Ink, are having a blog hop on 2nd October , which will run through until the 8th October, we HOPe you can join us and play along, as there will be prizes to be had !!.... so... mark this on your calenders, diaries or whatever, but just be there and have some fun..

another Cutie .. from Digi Ink Co. and M & M Designz.. (how did you guess I 'do' cute LOL... Coloured with copics... again... mat and layered, bit of ribbon and a bow and put onto, I think, Kanban cardstock.. ! (please don't quote me on that last bit) lol Anyway, a quick and easy card to make... if you take out the time it takes me to colour one image lol... but when all the chaos surrounds me..... :) is that a quote from somewhere? who knows.. anyways... here it is !
ohh btw... I will be AWOL tomorrow... cos I off spending money I don't have.. but hey,... who cares when it comes to craft ? do I need anything?? No, I just NEED it !!!! ... ooh Bev.. .will be popping by to say hello!!! so keep ya peepers open hun x

FINALLY got into my craft room today.... I've missed it sooooo much... place looks like a bombs hit it now mind, but ho hum... lol (goes with rest of house just now)... Roll on Saturday........... whoop whoop.. opps sorry, am I not meant to sound quite so pleased that my daughter, granddaughter, 2 labradors and a partridge in a pear tree are all moving out of my very small, very messy abode?????? so that I can once again restore it to its former clean, tidy self... white sofas,? what are they then? cos I ve two black ones where they used to be in the loung e!!!!! as for garden.. well Buzz thought he heard that his uncle Matt was off to Austraila.. so he been seeing if he can dig there quicker than Matt can fly !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i could bury a hippo in there now, and we wouldnt know !

This little gem is byBeary Designs and is called Honey, and and you can find her over at the D-IC store, :) plus Watch this space !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) I just think she is sooooo cute, .. .. my mojo got lost on route to craft room... so this is a simple card, (for me ) lol.. but it was the image I wanted to play with.. Digital-Ink Challenge....

Way to go gals....... Fabby new challenge this week over at Digi-Ink. This week we have a receipe challenge..... 3 - 2 - 1 .... are you ready to get creating?... The challenge is to use..... 3 brads/buttons or eyelets and two designer papers. The DT's were asked to use a design from Beary Dust.... thank you so much, cos I just love this image. I also used my MS punch, and some paper by SU, and pink check from stash,. You have chance of winning some super images from April Reece Designs called Gone Swimming.
also, pop over to the Shoppe to check out whats new, and.... make sure you also get over to the other dtm's blogs, all blog addys in side bar.. as they have done some super cards...

The Day has arrived !

Digital Ink Challenge Co. starts today.... so get over there and join in the fun.
(you will have to wait approx 5 hours lol.) as Boni is still in bed in USA at mo, and I'm only up under duress... (dog again) but make sure you do pop over later and take a look at what all the DT have done for the first challenge. Boni has picked herself a fabby team, and I am honoured to be working alongside the other girls, and am really excited to be part of the team and cant wait for the blinds to go up today and get going. We all hope to see lots of enteries for a cheeky little digi stamp that will be for the winning card.
