Artby MiRan DT card.

Good Morning all, I hope everyone is having a fantastic Christmas, and that Santa brought you all lots of goodies yesterday. Enjoy the rest of the festive hols and I am sure a lot of you will have lots of new crafty stash to play with in the New Year :). I will be treating myself to a new laptop as th is ones days are nearly over.... 

Today starts a new challenge over at the ArtbyMiran Challenge Blog, and as always it is an ANYTHING goes challenge. 

I have used Olivia for my card this time, such a shame when I took the pictures (many of)... the day was so gloomy I had to use a flash, and it hasnt really shown up as nice as it could have, but I did do my best. 

Papers, embelllies all from stash... finally using some of the gorge papers I have had for a long time and not wanted to use lol... as y ou do ! ... sadly no idea where from.

Right I am now off to finish clearing up after yesterday...oh dear... thats what happens when you have one too many 'sherberts'. LOL.... Have lots of fun joining in the fun on the challenge blog.  and above all... keep warm and safe...

ArtbyMiran DT card

Good morning fellow crafters and blog hoppers :)  Today starts a new Anything Goes Challenge over at ArtbyMiran Challenge Blog. 

I have used Kiki for my DT card this time, another adorable image by Mi Ran. :)  

I did have an awful time trying to get a reasonable photograph of the card though, its been so drab and dreary here .... guess thats Winter here then... brrrrr.   This was the best of a LOT of snaps taken. 

I raided my 12 x 12 stash box OK, ONE of them lol.... the blue box to be exact lol.. as I haven't ventured in there for a long time... so pleased I did.. as had forgotten just how many gorge papers I have... might have to take a look at the other 'few' boxes now :)  So  needless to say, I have no idea where I got the papers from.

I have also made a pair of earrings and carefully attached to the flower, Kiki has been coloured with copics, and the ticket, I hand made from a computer generated sentiment.  Just went around the edges with a ruler and brown copic pen.  (yes I do have a ticket die ....  I just like to make things a bit more difficult for myself lol)

Something different

As I LURVE all crafts and don't just stay with one... I have this week just completed a bunny... I have not knitted for over 30 years.. but having a friend to stay, has helped me back into it... who says you don't forget how to ride a flipping bike lol... whats MI/INC 1   erm............... nothing to do with peddling thats for sure...

anyways..w i th a bit of help on the difficult stuff, that I had forgotten............. here is  my first attempt at something... she may not be totally perfect. but I love her

ArtbyMiran DT challenge Card

Morning all....I cannot believe its been two weeks already since the last ArtbyMiran Challenge ... (Time is just whizzing by far too quickly ) We had mega loads of fantastic entries. : make sure you check if you are a winner. 

The new Anything goes Challenge starts today... hope that lots of you join in the fun again..  

I wanted to step away from Christmas cards for a while (even thou I still have a few more to make), and wanted to go back to all girly... 

I have used Fairy Lily, another little stunner I think you will agree.

For this card I have used various papers from my scrap stash box, also a shaped card blank front, nestability circle dies, and copics to colour.  ooh and obviously being a fairy, you have to use some fairy dust (glamour dust) lol.. for her wings.

Make sure you check out the rest of the DT cards, as always, they h ave done MiRan proud using her gorge images and made some stunning creations.

Hope you are all getting organised for Christmas.. (I'm not lol) .

ArtbyMiran DT card

Morning all,.... back to a card today :)  A new challenge is starting over on the ArtbyMiran Challenge blog,   I have used the cute Hey Miss Santa, by MiRan, another gorge image to colour up.

I wanted the main focus to be on the image for this card, so kept the card quite simple (for me, lol)

Had the papers in my Xmas stash box, so no idea where I got those from.

Crafty Jax

Hi all... I have swayed away from the card making a tad.. not that I have given it up, cos I have not, cos it will always be my first love.. :)  but.. venturing into the unknown lol.. I decided to give a few other things a go.. so to speak.. I should have started small..but me? in with both size 7's lol.. I got fed up with the pine in my home... so.. I decided to shabby chic my old fashioned pine ...

then... after a bit of thought lol..  went back to what I should have started with.. something small....

just a few samples of my upcycles...  trust me there are a LOT of other items in my kitchen awaiting sales lol...  so now... the ultimate................... I want to create THIS.. (THIS IS NOT ONE OF MINE)

I wish I could rememver where I got this from so I could link up for you and give credit where it is defo due.. isnt this  just beautiful...  I have 'acquired' a violin................. and after a lot of researching, practising, and praying lol........ I think... yes think.. I am finally (nearly) ready to take the plunge.................... so.......................  watch this space................. I have a said violin................ :) xx.. I have all said components.......................... just need the expertise now rofl.. but I have been practising... so...... h ere goes.. just taken strings off.. and chin rest.. and now .. takiing deep breaths lol..................... here goes the first coat................ gulp.........

DT card for Cuddly Buddly

Playing catch up at the moment :) between cards, jewellery, up cycles, shabby chic, painting and decoupaging ...... ( I do like to keep busy)....  I can now share the latest Cuddly Buddly stamp I have been playing with... he (well could be a she lol) .. is from the Toby Tumbles and Robins set of stamps... from Cuddly Buddly.

The gorge papers are also from Cuddly Buddly, and are from the Toby Tumbles Christmas Papers
as is the sentiment, which I cut out from a die I had for tickets.   I also used the Nestabilities circles, and 'tried' to make it look like a bauble lol...  ribbon and pearls from stash.

as of tomorrow... I have a BIG choice of what to do next.. a day in bed sounds perfect lol but thats not going to happen with an old girly that still likes a little walk out... little being the operative word now..
Xev is 16 and half years young.. and still going.. bless her...

so... house work... nooooo lol.. painting, decorating, shabby chic.. cards? who knows lol... lets see what tomorrow brings.... whatever it is.. it will defo involve craft,/ dogs, /horses .. lol.. 

Polka Doodles Digi Queen Inspiration Card (Wk 10)

Good Morning all, sorry I am a tad late with my posting, but my computer is dying on me.. Time to go shopping for a Chrimbo present for myself I think... If its not overheating, its switching itself off.. probably due to overheating... Dog hairs and Dust !  and there are only so many times I can have it taken apart.... so I do apologise..  but it just didn't want to play yesterday, for me to schedule, and true to form.. I overslept this morning... typical ! 

So... a little bit late, but here is my card card for this weeks Polka Doodles Digi Queen Design Team.

I have used the fabulous Etty Bear Sewing digi stamp.

I have coloured her with copics, 

E30, E31. E33, E35, E37. B0000, B000, B1, B2, B5. R81, R20.

The Embossing folder is Boofle Mixed Buttons I have had this for ages and never used before, but as soon as I started to colour up Etty, I just knew what I wanted to use as a backing... I lightly rubbed over some of the buttons using chalks.. added three buttons from stash, and some ribbon and bow...  The Die is by X cut.   

Make sure you pop over to take a look at the wonderful creations by the rest of the Digi Queen Team, and there is still time to join in the current challenge.

Cuddly Buddly Xmas Card

Me again :) another little gem by Cuddly Buddly, just loving Kim's images.. totally fab to colour up and make into a card.. lurrrrrrrrrrve them...

Cuddly Buddly DT Card

Been awol far too long AGAIN !... too many projects on the go at one time I feel... so... with that I have left my Shabby Chic furniture and object upcycles to one side, my decopauging of various items to one side, my jewellery making... again.. to one side.... and now I am going to add a card... whoop whoop.. back to where it all began... lol..

I am having the total pleasure of working with Kim at Cuddly Buddly and have had some fantastically cute stamps, to work with.    Today I have used Jolly Santa... and coloured him up with copics. adding a bit of glamour dust, as you do ! lol..... and using the fabulous Silent night papers by our very own Kim (at Cuddly Buddly).    

The Image, can be found HERE... and the sentiment is also included in the stamp set... bonus !!! I had the little charm and ribbon in my stash and thought it perfect for this.

Will be back VERY soon with more super duper stamped images from CUDDLY BUDDLY..  I am all coloured up and ready to go.. :) LOL

DT card for Polka Doodles Digi Queens

Good morning all, a very quick post today, as I off out for a girly day... hunting down bargains and crafty stuff :)  This is my card for the Digi Queens' inspiration, the rest of the girlies fabulous cards can be found HERE on the Polka Doodles Challenge Blog. 

Adore this little cutey, Little Elf, who is on the HollyBobs Festive CD, as are the gorge papers I have used on my card this week. 

I have coloured the image with copics, and as I like to be different ;), I went for blue/greens for a change. Using BG000, BG1, BG2 and BG9. I have just crushed glass on the snowflakes, and a charm from stash. 

Also don't forget the challenge is still running if you want to have a bit of fun and take part in that also.  Right... time for the off, and see what crafty stash I can find :)  Have a fabby week all...

Have been shabby chic'ing a few bits of furniture past few days, and in the process, destroyed my craft room... slipped down some stairs and twisted/sprained ankle AND dropped heavy object on foot at sa me time ... I don't do anything by halves lol... so I am now off to rest my foot again. soon as I can find my desk in craft room... I will be back with another card... Happy crafting all..

Card for Cuddly Buddly

Good afternoon all, from a very dreary, wet and miserable Kent ... however a fab excuse to play/work in the craft room, thank heavens for natural light lamps :).   

Today I want to show you this cute stamp, by Cuddly Buddly, which I adore, from the Toby Tumbles and Robins set. 

The gorge papers are also from Cuddly Buddly , from the Silent Night Digi paper pack by Kim. Make sure you check out the store for lots of new goodies... ;)

I have coloured up the image with copics, and added some glamour dust.. (I just love Glamour dust lol).  None to sure where the snowflakes come from... as I tend to put any spares in a box.. and Christmas comes but only once a year, and I cannot remember what I done yesterday LOL...

right I'm off to play  work again :)  ... hope the weather is far nicer in your part of the World...  Will be back asap with more goodies from Cuddly Buddly... and some other makes.

Back with another gorge stamp, from Cuddly Buddly, from the Winter Walkies collection ..... and coloured with copics by moi.

The fabby papers I have used are by our lovely Kim at CB, from the Silent Night digi papers.   The Poinsettia die can be found HERE, by Marianne Design.   ribbon from stash .  I also added some tiny gems to the hat and scarf etc.  for a little bit of extra bling :)..
