Have a Mice Christmas

Yet another Christmas card............. nearly there... 
Joanna Sheen image, couldn't resist this one lol... don't think the people I sending it too will find it funny... ROFLMAO... as they just been having problems with likkle mickeys... of the real variety. lol... but appealed to my sense of humour lol...

Used the CB folder, and as for copics, no idea, as coloured this up a while back, well, I don't want to spoil you too much lol... as I have been pretty good of late.  You might not be able to take the shock if I keep remembering to put down the numbers :)
The ribbon reel and sentiment also come with the main stamp, nice little additions I thought.
Another short and sweet posting, as need to get self to post office today, pick up my mouse... of the puter type... last one not working properly, so try again !!!! .. and post off all the cards made to date.. and there are quite a few, and being the amount of card stock a nd papers I use, this won't be cheap.. second mortgage needed lol.

I got a gorgeous one to show you with a MM image, but I  need to go and check if I can put into challenge or not... as cant remember this weeks destructions.  I think its got to be one of my most fav of late... just need to get a good piccy of it... Pink Gem Challenge card

Well Im back again, and Im STILL making Christmas cards, and if I don't pull my finger out, I will defo end up buying from M and S. !!! Sure someone pinching or hiding them, as quick as I making them, as I still haven't got enough... not sure whats occuring here lol.. Pixies I reckon. :)
Did you all see my little new additional blinky :)  I made the top five over at Pink Gem with my last card. happy little bunny.  Whilst picking that up, took note of this next challenge, as you do, and... well here we go... 

This little lady been sitting in the box far too long, so what better time to dust her off and use for the Pink Gem challenge.  This month, it is a sketch, yep.. no question of me joining in this one then lol. Seem to be running a blue theme at the moment with my cards, still it makes a nice change from traditional red and green.

Copics used. B29, B26, B24, B21.  Skin E00, E000, E11 and R20. lots of glamour dust (time to buy some more me thinks).. Spotty paper from Sarah Hurley, checks by Kanban, and I think the star one is kanban too.. not sure on that.  Twinklets on large snowflakes, and used the CB snowflake die.
Back to the craft room it is... and time to do a swift count up of cards done... surely I must be NEARLY there now, lol....

Kenny K Krafty Girlz Challenge - Let it Snow

Its Team A's turn again to host the this week's challenge over at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge, and its a nice easy one for this time of year :) Let it Snow, all we want to see is a card or project with something to do with Snow.

I have used Mistletoe who can be found HERE,, at Kennys shop, and for a change went for blues, (cos its chilly out there lol)... Well ok, truth time, one of the lovely ladies on the forum I belong to made us some lovely free backing papers, (thank you)  with snowflakes on, and I had just printed a couple off, and the blue one was sitting there asking to be used, so I basically worked the image to suit the paper, then went in hunt of a border die, I knew I had, but hadn't used in a long while, and obviously had to have one of the large cuttlebug snowflakes, which I have added twinklets to. The sentiment ticket is by Pink Gem.  A few little pearls added, glamour dust and card done.

This is my last Kenny K challenge card for a little while... only because we will be having a small break over Christmas... and then I will be back , as Arnie says lol...  If you pop over to the Challenge Blog, you will see that we have some New KK Girlz joining our team in the New Year,and I cant wait to start working with them... you will know a few of the ladies already...

Little church

Not a challenge card, or a DT card today, just a Christmas card, as still not made enough ...  I spotted this over at Justinklined a while back,  and thought what a lovely scene, hadn't got around to colouring it up, even thought it been sitting on desk willing me to get out the copics lol.  So... today was the day.. :)

I decided to, what I call, 'rough copic' it,  I expect there is a term for it, but thats my name for it, lol.... basically not much blending going on just rough, randomish colour, (only used this on the trees), the church was done as per the norm.   I actually like using this effect now and then,and its good to do something different occasionally. 

The copics I have used,
trees, G99, G94 and G82
church E31, E34 and E37
snow C5, C3 and C1 
Then a glue pen and glamour dust for a bit of sparkle here and there, well , it is Christmas after all. :), and some sponging for the sky.

Kept the rest of the card fairly simple, as once again, I wanted the image to stand out. So cuttlebug snow folder, bit of ribbon and a snowflake charm, the charm came from Pink Gem.

Pennys Challenge Blog 44

Another new challenge over at Pennys Challenge Blog, and this time round its.... MERRY CHRISTMAS.  So I would think we should have plenty of enteries for this one :)...
I have used Christmas Tree Pengy, from Fairy Dust Crafts,. Just thought this image so cute, with the little Penguin in his muff and ear fluffies LOL...

Copics used.. sorry AGAIN, no idea, as I done this card last week, and I have been chasing my backside all week, trying to catch up on so much, and not having a car, has not helped one iota.  Plus probs still occuring with computer and as for the new m ouse... forget it... it doing more damage than good.. think I got a duff one... nothing at all new there then. 
I hope you will take part in the challenge as there are some fabby prizes to be had, plus Fairy Dust has very kindly sponsered us this time round. 
I need to run... again, as appointment shortly, and shouldn't be here now... and as for the C word.... well can someone postpone it for a few more months? lol... as per usual.... Im way behind.

Sticky

Well another day without car (and mouse, by the look of things)... getting just a tad fed up now.. however, it has meant lots of playing time in my craft room...

When I saw 'Sticky', I knew I just had to have him... isnt he just adorable, and yes.... another Mo Manning image :)...  Sticky can be found HERE...  I am putting him in this weeks challenge over at DP2, which is Glitz and Glimmer, well there is certainly plenty of that on this card :). and I already have another one of him coloured up ready to go...
Nearly made all my Chrimbo cards now, just a few more to go, why I couldnt just stick a topper on a few I dont know, no, I had to colour every image lol.... but, then isnt that part of the fun?, at least I know my crafting buddies will appreciate time spent, even if the rest dont :).

Sketch and Stash Challenge 50

Brrrrrrr.. its cold outside... (none to warm inside at min either)...  Just waiting for postie to deliver my new mouse... it best turn up today or someone wont be happy !

Today we start a new challenge over at Sketch and Stash, and once again Sue has come up with a fabby sketch, and all the rest of the DT girls have done it proud, as always.  We have a new Guest Designer, Vicky, please check out her card and blog, as well as the rest of the team,

My old stash, is the stamp, and new...well tried something new with ribbon, as an extra :).  Get me!  LOL
Slipped up on the copic numbers for this one, if I can work out later what I used I will add them here.

Purse for a friend (no Money thou) LOL

Good morning all... well all the snow has disappeared, considering the amount we had, it is unbelieveable that it could go so quickly, mind you... the heavens have opened ! So now we just have loads of the wet stuff instead of the white. oh well... roll on summer. :)

 

Today is a card I have made for one of my best friends, and yes I know it says Wedding Purse on the description... but I still felt can be used for birthdays too.  The digi image is by Justinklined, and can be found HERE. I cannot beleive that such a simple card took me so long to make lol... but I faffed with different ideas for far too long, I wanted the purse to really stand out, and not be lost amongst various papers etc, as felt there is so much details in the image.  So out came my trust CB folders, and I opted to mirror the design on the purse.   Sadly, when stamping the sentiment dtp I slightly smudged one letter.. grrr... so.. quick fix, as yes you guessed it, I had already stuck the image on... stupid or what !!!! I have embossed lines at top and bottom of card, but guess what... poo photography as per the usual...... hehe

Righty oh... time to sort self out and debate taking two dogs for a walk soon... had daughters little spaniel for the night.. and feel like I slept in a straight jacket all night... one dog either side, snuggled right in, I couldnt move a muscle... needless to say I certainly did not get cold.... the very opposite... was boiling... today, back absolutely killing me, where I obvioiusly slept at odd angles !!!  however.... lovely to have two dogs back in house, and it certainly not helping my decisionas to whether to have another one or not LOL... But as I have waited a year to get one..... a few more months wont hurt, as want to wait until after my Bali holidays... plus summer much easier to housetrain...  (have to think of these things LOL.

Sarah Hurley Challenge

Good morning peeps... in all my excitment with the snow fall.... I nearly forgot to post my challenge item... doh...  This week over at Sarah Hurleys Challenge blog the theme this week  is.......................  a gift bag.
I have used all of Sarah images and papers on this, and would like to thank Nena for sending me details of a template for the bag.
 And to think NO colouring involved on this either, thats a first for me lol.. (well of late it certainly is).
Dont forget to check out the other DT's bags, they really showed me up on this challenge LOL... well done girls.

Im away to the craft room again today... but... due to no mousey yet.. and cant see that turning up in the near future.... a lot of what I wanted to do on the puter will have to wait, as I just not got the patience with the mouse on the lappy.  And half the time things just disappear or 'happen' that I dont want to happen.. lol.. is it just me??? or do others have the same problem?
Hope everyone is staying warm and safe.... unlike most, I LOVE the snow... especially when I indoors watching it lol....

Saw this cute stamp over at Donnas Den a while back (she had a sale on at the time... sooooooo)... say no more.. lol.. Just had to have it, as you do... and not had time to have a play until today.

  The actual image didnt take long to colour up at all, as most of it is in the stamp, (if you get my drift).   However them leaves took a steady hand lol.. defo not one to colour when had a tipple or two. :)  Had to use my last bit of scrummy olive green satin ribbon... need to go shopping again :), and it just fitted.. phew... a bit of fiddling around, but got there in the end.

I think the papers are from the Forever Friends CD, I could be wrong lol... as I just found enough of them too, to make a card, as had bits left over from last project.  As for copics.... oh dear, here we go...

Pink Gem Challenge Card

Morning all....brrrrrrrr is all I can say!    Fields opposite covered in frost this morning... had to look twice to see if snow, but no.. Jack Frost been busy thou :)  so its blooming cold, to say the least.  Just trying to figure out if I really NEED to go to the shops or if I can survive a few more days... car been playing up and konking out on me as is, so bit scared to go too far from my local garage at min.. and last thing I need is to break down in this weather. Whats the prob with car??? who knows.. its a bit of a mystery at minute. As decided to play nice when I took it to the garage.. typical.

Anyways, onto todays card..... Not played in a long time over at A Gem of a Challenge, slap my wrist... just seem to have been so busy with DT cards,( and visitors).. lol   but all back under control now, and time to re organise myself.  I had been a bit naughty and had a little spending spree ove at Pink Gem's shop.... so what better time to use some of my purchases than on their challenge card.   OOOh did I say???? there is a sale on too... . craft SALE.... heheehe.. you know you want to.... :)... I have actually decoupaged the heads and hats... but.. due to my extremely poor photographic skills LOL... it not showing... will have to take side shots in future. x

Pennys Challenge Blog 43

OMGoodness I am SOOOO sorry, but guess who forgot to post this fortnights Challenge card and details for Pennys Challenge Blog, Defo a senior moment .. or two days...
Without further ado... The challenge this time is a colour inspiration photo..

I used two cuttlebug folders, and with the house folder I used it twice and have joined it .  then cut the snow to fit the curve of the houses, clear as mud at describing this aren't I !! LOL.  The image is by Whiff of Joy, and I had this image coloured up already, so no idea of copic numbers.. sorry....
Once again I apologise for not putting this on my blog two days ago... I really do need a brain transplant !!!

Sarah Hurley Challenge

Good morning all. Today starts a new challenge over at Sarah  Hurleys Challenge Blog, and this week it is... Masking..   Now I had a vague idea of the process, but, I did have to go and watch a YouTube vid just to be sure, as I have never had a go at this before, and I quite liked it, so another little bow in my belt, I have gone for something quite simple.. bit like me LOL, as a first attempt, but can see the possibilities are endless...

I have used all of Sarahs papers and image for this card, I adore the pink for Christmas.. makes a nice change.
Copics used, well this one going to be easy,  lol...
E00, E11, E13 , E15 and E18.  G94 and a blender pen.  as said... simples :)   Su ink for the background. Now that one was something to do with vegetables :)   Alovely bit of satin ribbon and pearls from stash.

Sketch and Stash Challenge - 49

Good morning all, well is defo a nip in the air today .  But at least its dry out there.  Son and DIL back in Bali and around 35 degrees... ok for some ah ! lol...

So onto this fortnights Challenge over at Sketch and Stash  Sue has come up trumps AGAIN, shame I didnt double check the sketch before layered it up !!!! spot the mistook.. or should I will say its.... tweeked.. lol ,
This is an old stamp I found buried in the depths of time, , and ... have to admit, I had already coloured her up in water colours.... needless to say, after using copics for so long, I had to.... deepen up the colours with my copics, :)... I used various BV ones, and added some R20 for blusher as she looked ill, without it...  LOL..  Funny enough I also read somewhere ... think it was Bev, that she had trouble when she went back to her distress inks.... so I am not alone! Think watercolouring will defo be taking a back seat .. on the bus... for awhile to come.. lol...
Right must dash... shouldnt be here... tight schedule, as ever and Im running late....

Sarah Hurley Challenge

Good morning all.... sorry I am a little late in posting this, but its sad day today, son and dil back off to Bali... now its countdown til they return in April for a quick turn around visit, then WE ALL off to Bali for two weeks... hence the countdown clock :)
So today starts a new challenge over at Sarah Hurley's challenge blog, and this week it is... EMBOSSING, dust off your folders, templates or whatever means you have to emboss and join in the fun.

I have used one of Sarahs Argle backing papers, which can be found HERE, plus one of Freds Flowers pointsettas.  I have also used the Swiss dot CB folder on the cicle behind the flower (as my my toot photography isnt showing it up too well ) lol  nothing new there then. :)  Added some ribbons, pearls and cb tag die.

Sarah Hurley Challenge

Good afternoon from  a very wet and soggy Kent....

Well my visitors have certainly had a climate shock, thats for sure LOL, bless ... they might have brought some sun with them.

Today starts  a new challenge over at Sarah Hurleys challenge blog, and this week the theme is.... Easel cards. I have used all of Sarahs images and papers for this card... I thought my youngest grandson might find this a giggle, with Santa stuck down the chimney LOL..  I have put 3D pads behind the stockings and presents, and under Santas gloves.  The sentiment was stamped out.  Inside I used two nestie shapes to write on.  I hope that you will join in the fun with this challenge... and don't forget to check out the other DT cards and blogs.

I am so sorry I am late with this card and details of this fortnights challenge, but, I hope you will forgive me when I say I got totally unexpected news yesterday, from my Son and future DIL, they are doing a quick visit to UK... TOMORROW !!!! and it has completely thrown me, as we was all thinking they would be over in January (they live in Bali) , so I have been running around like a headless chook since then, and completely forgot to post challenge I do apologise.
So onward to thecha llenge and card.

All you have to do, as if you didnt know by now, lol, is following the fabby sketch by Sue, and pick an old neglected bit of stash or a brand new one, and let us know what it is.  I have used ribbon that I bought... ages ago, and I dont actually think I have ever used it... so that is defo neglected lol.. infact I think I bought it last Xmas. !!!

A new Kenny K Challenge AND.... A FABBY Krash Kittenz CONTEST !!!

Good morning all, well have I got news for you... not only is there a brand new challenge starting over at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz challenge blog today, but.... there is also a super duper contest to join in the fun with too.  Wow, I don't know where to start, so... you best grab a cuppa, and be prepared for a longish post, but you won't want to miss this.

Firstly the new challenge, This week, its 'Don't be square', so we would like to see anything BUT a square card. I have used Santa, who can be found HERE, (when he not at the North Pole or climbing down chimneys) :) I have enlarged him up to nearly 6", and boy, did that take some colouring in LOL. I wanted to get him to stand alone, but, in the end had to add some folded cardstock as a support, which gave way to adding loads of pressies, once again from Kenny.  This will defo be little Rubys Xmas card this year.

As for the presents.. forget it.. lol... every colour I could lay my hands on , well, it HAD to be colourful for a 3 year old. :).
The background was stamped using various snowflake stamps from stash.  Lots of glitter added (but photo not showing that up).

NOW... onto the fabby contest.... We are soon to see the new release of the Krash Kittenz, and Kenny would like you all to choose a name for each and every one of the little beauties, similar to how the Gothic Angelz... so cool, fun, catchy, playful... you getting the idea?.  We have added letters to each girly, so when you pop over to Bearly Mine Crafts to play along, please add the letter that you are 'naming',  There will be prizes for each winner that NAMES THAT KITTEN... Tapestry stamping

Up with the larks this morning, so thought would get on and get moving, and add a card before I lock myself away doing inserts !!! (gosh I hate that job)... love the creating the pretty bits, but ooooh inserts sooo boring.
Got this sweet little image from Cuddly Buddly, and have not used it enough... (story of a crafters life me thinks) LOL.

 Once again used various tapestry stamps, think it was a bit of mix and match on this one :), nesties and copics. Now, in my defence Your Honour, I actually made this card last week.. and clean forgot to add to blog, so any chance of copic numbers... well, you know the story by now.. :)  However... I am totally up to date now with all my DT work, (just)... so... clean and clear work table... pot at the ready and note boldly sitting in front of pot  saying... COPIC NUMBERS !!! lol.. I am determined to crack this ....
These tapestry cards are just sooo quick and easy, ideal for Christmas cards when you have so many to make in such a short space of time, cos, yes, lastmin.com again... so much for saying going to make them throughout the year !   How many more of you say that, and it never happens. ??

News on dog, for those that have asked,.... basically old age setting in.... and she has become slightly incontinent, so.... Propalin syrup at the ready, and hopefully that will help.... only one problem, getting it down her in the first instance... now that will be fun...  But, one accident too far now... (ok, 4 in total, but that 4 too many... so... medicine has somehow got to be administered somehow)...  Lump in throat.... still there... but at present, not causing any problems... this still the dog by the way, not me getting emotional... LOL..
So thats update on her....
Me?  OOOh still not made nearly  enough Chrimbo cards yet... keep getting distracted.. so on that note... I best move my posterier and get cracking.. no more playing FB games today.. (well ok, maybe just the one later, if I a good girl and do these blooming inserts.... ) ... Whats the betting I get out the copics first :).

Sarah Hurley Challenge

Today starts a new challenge over on Sarah Hurleys Challenge Blog, and guess who got to choose what it was... yes little old me :)... as I am Guest Designer for the month ... Thank you Sarah for asking me to join you and the rest of the DT for November.
Well I did not have to think too hard or long on this one... as...well you just know what I am going to say... I chose a sketch....  no surprises there then.:) I could have really gone to town on this, but, I decided to keep it quite simple. (just like me LOL)

I have used a cute little owl, robin and gingerbread house, all by Sarah, which can be found HERE. Plus the snowflake and polka dot papers are by Sarah as well, (I had to rummage through my stash for some gingham, and found a great match).  Ribbon, pearls and button also from stash. Once again, I have let the side down, and not recorded the copic numbers... sorrreeeeee. 

I hope you will join in the fun this week and have a go with the sketch, it would be nice to see some of my bloggy friends playing along to this.  You do not have to use any of Sarahs images to enter, but obviously I am sure she would be chuffed to bits if you did :).  I look forward to seeing all your wonderful creations, you have 10 days to play... and 3 lucky winners will be chosen a week Sunday.  oooh and dont forget to check out the other DT's take on my sketch...they have all  down a brill job on the sketch.
