Yes that's right I am joining Kim at Cuddly Buddly on her Design Team, and again I am totally stoked to have been asked  by her to join her fab team. .... I can't wait to get started.   

So on that note... this very busy Design Team member for such fab people had best get her backside back up to the craft studio and get busy busy busy..   From one very happy likkle bunny herself LOL    Watch this space. :)

Fabby News :)

I have been asked by the fabulous Nikky at Polka Doodles to be on her Design Team.. :) whoop whoop  So excited. 

We will be two fabby teams, set up purely to showcase her gorgeous designs... :)   We will be 'going live' every Tuesday.. so make sure you check us all out and see what is going on in Polka Doodles land :)  The link for the PD blog is HERE.   and if pop over now you will see a few sneaky peeks at what the girls are currently working on.  You will have to TRY and be patient to see the finished results.. starting next Tuesday.

Making Cards Mag - my cards.

Well, its that time again, the new Making Cards Magazine is out,

And not only have I done two masterclasses for skin colouring, but also two cards made with the fabulous Mo Manning, Fruit Girls Digi Images. :)  Strawberry Girl and Cherry Girl.  I am SOOOOO chuffed to be featured again in MC :) Its certainly keeping me busy and out of trouble lol.  Here is the double page spread in the mag, now you know you just want to rush out and buy it... lol.   Once again all the DT have done a fantastic job again this month....

New news............ lots of

Whoop whoop .... new news... My very first DT position on ArtbyMiRan..   I am so chuffed to have been chosen to be on MiRans team... I absolutely adore her images.. and I hope I have done her proud using Lunar Deity.   

I have, as usual now days, lol,, used copics to colour...

Using E00, E000, E11, E13 R20 for skin, E11,13,15, 27, 18 and 19 for hair,  G20, 21, 24, 28 for dress, and R81, 83, 85, 89.

Stars just using Glamour dust.   Moon... oh my.. cannot remember rofl... just typical of me ah. lol.. ribbon from stash, as are the pearls,... papers.. oh dear... off to visit craft room to have a look see. lol.. and the die cut is Catalina Wreath by memory box,  papers... yah found them lol.. Garden Party by Dovecraft.  I am very impressed with self lol.

Bearly Mine Inspiration card

 Good Morning all, my turn to post an inspiration card for BearlyMine Challenge and Inspiration Blog. 

For a complete change I have used an adorably cute image from a CD....(sadly I cannot remember which one lol) doh,  I just fell in love with these and had to have a play, so the copics stayed out of sight for once LOL...

I have also been a tad naughty and used one of the papers from the Peach Dream set, which I know has been retired, but IS still available from Donna, details are given on the link shown, it just that the colours and design of the paper where just perfect Also used mini dots for the centre panel, Crafters Companion border die, leaf die by Crealies.  Tag die by Die-namics.

Have a fab day, and I hope you have drawn some inspiration from my card, using Donnas fabby papers. x.  

BearlyMine Challenge

Good morning all, long time since I have posted a DT card, I do apologise for that... But I have been so busy with the Making Cards Christmas Special, I have got a tad behind with things elsewhere, plus, silly me, decided to 'throw' self down a flight of stairs, and knocked myself out.. opps... so was out of action for a couple plus weeks also, but now managed to catch up with myself all round.  

Here is my card for the new challenge at Bearly Mine Challenges and Inspiration, which starts today, and the theme for this month is Anything Goes   I have chosen to use an image from Saturated Canary, called Washi Type Kinda Girl, 

The gorge papers are by Bearly Mine Designs, Flower Delight, Simply Stripes and Mini Dots,  The Ivy dies are by Joanna Sheen.  Image coloured with copics.  pearls from stash.  :) 

Hope to see lots of beautiful entries.  Have a fun time playing along, some gorge prizes as ever.

New Challenge at DP2

Good afternoon all... and another fortnight gone whoosh lol...  Today starts a brand new challenge over at DP2... and for the next two weeks the theme for the challenge is

SUMMER FLOWERS.

I have used Bunches, by Mo, so adorable, 

I used some flowers, from a die, that my lovely kind friends rolled and stuck for me last year, cos I was so sausage fingered, I couldn't do them rofl... apparently I was 'sposed to share them... oppsey... they all seemed to end up in my bag :) ... totally perfect for this card... so I'm sort of sharing n ow (don't think thats what the girls had in mind) LOL..  The papers are by Dovecraft, called Garden Party, scroll die by Cheery Lynn,   Copics used to colour

Out of the Box tutorial

Good morning all, its my turn to host the Tutorial Tuesday or Tuesday Tutorial,(in Bella and Brontes Clubhouse.), ... not quite sure which, but I do know it my turn and it Tuesday lol...   I know this has been shown before by various crafters... but hopefully there are still some people that haven't seen this technique done... specially the way I do it rofl..  so here goes, and I do hope it makes sense to everyone, if there is anything that you are not sure about, feel free to leave a question and I will try to answer it for you.

I have used Fairy Sleepy by Mo Manning. 

1.   Decide on which die you would like to use, and place over image as shown, with some of the image outside of your die. 

2.   mark around the outside of your die, (this helps to replace your die in the correct place later), and also the inside where you have any overlap, in this case all the wings,  (shown on one, where the pencil is ) for your cut out marks.

3.   Cut from your outside line upto and just a tad  past your inside pencil lines (the die should not be on your image at this time, this is to only show you clearly where I have cut the wings to)...  Once you have cut your image from pencil line to pencil line, place die over image and careful put any pieces you do NOT want to cut off on the outside like so, if you find it is too tight, go back and cut into the image in the places needed, these wont show later, so don't worry too much. 

4. Run through your die cutting machine and this is hopefully lol how it should come out.. (yep ok I have managed a few times to forget to put stuff 'outside of the box' and ended up with tailless mermaids and wingless Fairies.. rofl...  it happens ! ;) 

5. Take away your die... (hopefully wings still intact) :)  and trim away excess paper/card 

6. Rub away and inside pencil marks, and when sticking image to backing card/paper, try to put your adhesive over the little tiny cuts you may have left.... once stuck into place these will not show.

I do hope that t his tutorial helps some of you...

Bearly Mine Challenge

Good morning all, I cannot believe it is the 1st June already..... but that means that it is time for a new challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenge and Inspiration blog. The theme for this month is..

One for the Boyz

I have chosen to use a  Hangler stamp, coloured with copics,

Skin E11, 13, 00, R21, jumper, hat and trousers.  B12, 14, 16, 18.. C1,3,5,. E11, 13,15 shoes. and the fabby papers are by BearlyMine Designs.

The Papers are from the Boys Zone digi set and the Load of ole Bricks.   A bit of twine, computer generated sentiment and nestability star shape... jobs a goodun lol.... 

Right Im off now, sorry this post is so short, but I have a friend staying and she desperately wants to take me shopping lol...   Dont forget this challenge will run for a month.. the DT look forward to seeing all your marvellous makes....

DP2 challenge

Good morning all, I don't know how, but I lost a day this week... I thought today was Thursday oppsey.... so I am a little late in putting up my post for the new challenge that started yesterday, over at DP2,  (think I going senile lol)...   The challenge for the next three weeks, is NEW BEGINNINGS, so I have chosen this gorge image (aren't they all), by Mo Manning, called Bride and Groom Dancing.

I bought the new butterfly die, whilst I was away staying with my bestie, and couldn't wait to use it,  I have to say, she had the perfect embossing folder to go with it as well. :)  I have left a small space at the bottom so that I can personalise it if needed at a later date.  I also raided my friends stash for the feather and beads.  I did however use my own heart shape doily lol.. 

 

Right Im off to treble check what else I should have done yesterday.... as a tad worried now.. bound to have forgotten something else lol... Have a fabby weekend all.   Make sure you also pop by on FB and see all the wonderful creations everyone is making there too, at Bella and Brontes Clubhouse.

Bearly Mine. whoop whoop

Not only is there going to be new releases today, BUT, also another sale all ready for the Bank Holidays... how cool is that... :)  Donna has been ultra busy again designing some more fabulous digi papers.. (see below in a sec)... so excited, just lurving the black and white in particular, but also, to add, the other two sets are going to be wonderful when i t comes to mens cards in particular I feel, they so difficult, in every sense lol...

So, without further ado...... ta dah...... look whats our wonderful designer Donna has come up with now ... get your debit cards at the ready... lol...

Design Team Call for Bearly Mine Designs

Bearly Mine Designs - Design Team Call May 2014

We have had a number of Design Team members leave and thought we need 3-4 more Design Team members. 

We are a friendly bunch and talk via a closed Blogger Admin Blog and a Facebook page. It is not a requirement to be part of the Design Team to be on Facebook but if you want a speedy reply to a question or like a daily natter that’s the place to be!!!

What are the commitments for the Design Team?

• Bearly Mine Designs has a monthly challenge so you need to make a card/creation for that using Bearly Mine Designs digital papers. The challenge starts on the 1st of the month. Your card/creation needs to be posted onto the closed Admin Blog at least 2-3 days before the start of the challenge so that the Design Team Leader can get the challenge post ready.  Your card/creation needs to go "live" on your own blog on 1st of the month
• There is also a rota so that every two days an inspiration card goes on the blog and you will be required to make a card for that. For this card you can make whatever you want as long as you use Bearly Mine digital papers. You will be required to do your own post and schedule it to go “live” on the Bearly Mine Design Challenge Blog on your day each month along with it going "live" on your own blog on the same day
• This means that you are required to make two cards per month as part of the Design Team
• In respect of the Challenge Blog there is a rota for comments. You will be allocated two numbers and you will need to comment on all cards/creations with those numbers. Commenting is a very important part of the Design Team as it gives everyone that enters a boost to see that their card/creation has been looked at
• Random.org picks the main winner of the challenge but the Design Team pick their Top 3. You will need to put your Top 3 into the Admin Blog in a timely fashion so that the results can be counted and entered into the post going “live” for the next challenge on the 1st of the month
• If there are any Bearly Mine Designs new sets to be released/ sales/special offers you will need to promote these on your blog and Facebook page (if you have one).

What will you get in return for being part of the Bearly Mine Design Team?

• You will get to work with some stunning papers designed by Donna at Bearly Mine Designs
• You will get to pick 4 sets initially to use and you can pick these from the Bearly Mine Designs Shop and just let us know which ones you want. We do this as everyone has different styles of cards/creations so we leave it to you to decide which papers would work best for you/what you would get most use out of
• Whilst you are on the Design Team you will automatically receive any new digital paper sets that come out from Bearly Mine Designs
• You will be part of a wonderful and friendly Design Team that is here for each other.

If the answer is “YES” please link one of your favourite cards/creations to the Inlinkz at Bearly Mine Challenge Blog  and do a post on your blog about the Design Team Call explaining why you would like to join the Design Team.

The Design Team call will be open for two weeks from Saturday 10 May 2014 and ending on Friday 23 May 2014.

We would not expect new Design Team members to make a card/creation for the challenge on 1 June 2014 but if you wanted to you could.  

An Inspiration Post would be appreciated in June 2014 and some existing Design Team Members could swap dates to facilitate this.

Paper Piecing Tut for Bella and Bronte's Clubhouse

Good morning all... from Essex this time LOL... told you I was 'touring'.. :)

Today I am doing a simple Paper piecing tutorial for Bella and Bronte's Clubhouse,   I am using, 'Bossy' by Mo, who can be found HERE .  The papers I am using/used are Romance and Roses (scaled down) by Nitwits collection.

1. Start by stamping up/printing  the image onto your normal 'colouring' paper/card stock, I have used Whisper White, by SU, as I will be using copics to finish. 

2. Stamp up/print out the image again , onto a chosen paper of your choice, (This will be for the main part of the dress and sleeves)

 3. (As I want to use two different prints, I have printed the image again onto a co-ordinating paper. Which I will be using for the smock top and  panties.

4.  Cut out the parts required from the two images printed onto your dp's. (as below).

 

 5. Using a glue of your choice, pritt stick,  a wet glue, or glue pen, glue up the cut out pieces, and overlay, onto your first printed plain image.  (as below)

 6. Here is the finished image, with dress, smock and panties all  paper pieced, and image coloured with copics.

Making Cards Mag - Cards for Kidz

Good evening peeps.....  as some of you may know, the new  Making Cards June Issue  Magazine is out now, and once again I am extremely lucky to be designing for the Cards for Kidz section :)

I have used two of Pink Gems gorgeous Chloe digi stamps, the first is Mermaid Chloe.

 

I have used Peach Dreams, Gingham and Mini Dots papers by Bearly Mine Designs,  EK Success retro punch, Marianne Designs flourish dies,  , borderbilities by Spellbinders and copics. ribbon and card candy from stash, tag by LOTV.

DP2 Challenge

Good morning all from a damp and dreary  Surrey... !!! for those that know me...will note... I'm not in my home county of Kent.... (probably no sun there either lol)... on a little tour, visiting my 'crafty' friends .. and obviously brought a lot of craft stash  with me so I can still play/work :)..

Today starts a new fortnightly challenge over at DP2 , and this time it is whimsical characters, I have chosen to use, Little Sugar Plum fairy,

The papers I have used are all by Stamping Up, (probably out of production now lol), cardstock from same, lace and some flowers  from Wild Orchid, leaf die, Crealies,  

copics used, skin E00, E11, E13, R21, hair E13, 15, 17, 18.  leaves, G20, 21, 24, 94.  Dress BV 0000, 00, 01, 04/5 ? and 9.  (sorry but so long since coloured can't quite remember  but its around that lol). glamour dust added. 

Do not forget that we also, have our Guest Designer call going over at Bella and Bronte's club house,
