Morning all, hope you all having a fabby week.... I am not sure where time has gone at all ..... seem to be getting nowhere fast this week. But DID manage to make a birthday card for my granddaughter Ruby, and once again, where did time go.. cannot beleive she is 4 years old today. (going on 24!) lol
I have used Joy, one of the Simply Adorable images by Sugar Nellie (can be found HERE at Funky Kits), and yes I think she is adorable. She was sitting on my desk ready to be coloured up, and Rubys mum, spotted her and said... oooh that is Ruby.... so... say no more ! lol... I have used Roo's fav colours of blue and pink, and lots of sparklies, maybe the papers are a little grown up for her, but all I could find in the colourways I wanted and PRETTY... :)... she will be more made up that the card has her name on and her age I think LOL... or probably more interested in the box !!!! :)
Yes I have finally.... mastered making a box, that the lids fit hehe.... had a few more dummy runs... yep they went seriously array somewhere... still not quite sure how I manage to make them NOT fit... however, after a lot of swearing and perserverance, I got there... easy when you know how ! lol
Well, need to go over to all my DT blogs now and see what wonderful cards and items you girlies (and boyz) have made since I been awol for the past few days... and leave a little bit of love on your blogs.... It is always such a pleasure to see all your creations on my travels, and I am certainly inspired by so many.
Have a fabby day all... and I hope to be back tomorrow with a Pink Gem card... for a little boy.. yes.... male card... now that makes a change for me.. but with a Charity table coming up soon.... 100 girlies cards plus and about half a dozen male cards... well... need I say more LOL...
