DP2 Challenge

A new fortnightly challenge has just begun over at DP2 and the theme this time is.

A CAS card... (not that easy for me)... it was defo a case of, walk away from the card, lol,  so yes.... a challenge it was/is !!!

I have used 'Talk to the Bear', which really tickles me,, just love it :)

The embossing folder is the Courture trellis, (which is at the moment one of my favs), image coloured with copics. 

Also, do not forget the monthly anything goes challenge is also still running at Bella and Brontes Clubhouse :)   over on Facebook.

Two New Releases at BearlyMine Designs

Good morning all, hope the sun is shining where ever you are..... its trying its hardest here anyway :).

BearlyMine Designs is releasing two  more beautiful digi sets today, Fall Fancy and Summer Floral Delights. They can both be found HERE in the Shop.

I have used the Summer Floral Delights on my card, and I have to say, they are all beautiful...  you will love these :) 

As you can see, I didnt really need to add much to this card, the papers speak for them selves..

The image is by Saturated Canary.  Coloured with copics.  Retro flower punches used to make flower.

Make sure you pop over to the BearlyMine Designs shop and pop these in your basket :)

Tut for fur colouring, with copics.

My copic tutorial on how I colour fur.  I have used Mo Mannings' Tolerance 

 I first started with E39 doing random strokes 

Then using E37

E35 beginning to fill in spaces as you go.

E34

E33

E31 and now starting on the grey fur with C1

oppsey, took two shots of same photo lol

Here I have gone back to E39 and added extra strands to add more texture to coat

 more C3 and C1 and then I went over quickly with the blender pen

and the finished picture :)

New Challenge DP2

Hi all, I am beginning to feel a bit like the White Rabbit out of Alice in Wonderland.... lol  (I'm late)  I was defo in back of queue when memory cells were handed out..... :)  Today brings a brand new challenge starting over at DP2,  and for this next two weeks the theme is Perfectly Pinkalicious.

I have used Lil Ballerina, who can be found HERE, at Mo's Shop, coloured with copics, The papers I have used are by Nitwits Collection,  Romance and Roses, leaf die, by Crealies, not sure who made the flower die, sorry :) lace, pearls from stash. 

Copics used hair.. E11,13,15.17,18.   tutu, R81,R83, tights, RV10,RV11and RV13. skin E00,E11, E13, R21, and a little bit of glamour dust :) Hope you likey....  

Right, off to sort next thing I should have already done lol.... have a good evening all...

Inspirational for BearlyMine

 

Good morning all, just.... Im on a go slow today, put my back out good and proper yesterday, and today in agony... and walking or should I say hobbling, like an old lady of 90... :(  due to pain factor and pain killers, which don't seem to be working...) I totally forgot it my day to post up my latest card for BearlyMine Inspirational and Challenge blog... so I do apologise for being a tad late.

For this card , which is nothing like my normal , but Inspirational it was, using the fabby new papers,  Mixed Media, by Donna, at BearlyMine Designs,....

The stamp is an old one, that I have probably only used once before, but I knew (if I still had it stashed away lol), it would be perfect for this card and papers.. luckily I had not got rid of it...   The little flowers are  made from a die, sorry I dont know name of..  and I have added lots of various fabrics and textures,

right... sat long enough now,, need to see if I can move off this chair.. lol..  how did I do it.... simply bending over to hold dogs snout so she not bite Vet whilst having a pedicure... she HATES her feet being done.... so a bit of a chillax day for me I think..... happy crafting all. xxx hugs J x

New Challenge at BearlyMine

Good afternoon all, a brand new challenge has just started today over at BearlyMine Inspiration and Challenge Blog,  and the theme for this month is SPRING, hence I chose this delightful little dog holding what we know to be spring flowers... (not that I have any in my garden lol), but luckily my neighbours are a lot more green fingered than I. :)

I got the image free from a mag a while back, and as always, coloured with copics, went for the rough colour on this one, which I like to do now and then.  The gorge papers are by Bearly Mine Designs, Peach Dreams and Mini Dots. tag by LOTV, from a set, and the ribbon was coloured with copics, as I didn't have any brown in my stash that was right...

As always, fabby prizes from our wonderful sponser Marianne Designs, and also from 'The Boss' Donna at BearlyMine Designs....   The challenge will run for a month, so plenty of time to come up with a fab card for the challenge, and for the DT to come by and leave some love.

and just look at the wonderful new digi sets made by Donna.. gorgeous. :)

For me, now, its back to my craft room and carry on with playing .. working lol

DP2 Challenge

Hi all, well I am finally back with a card, as I am playing along with the new DP2 challenge that has just started and will run for the next two weeks.

The theme for this challenge is..... K is for ..............  so I have chosen to use Kady, who can be found HERE, in Mo's Digital Pencil shop, isn't she just so adorable :) 

 

I have coloured up the image with copics, and have used the gorge papers from the  Romance and Roses bundle, by Nitwits Collections.  Flowers are from Wild Orchid, and stash,  and I think its a Cheery Lynn die i used for the swirls.. (need to go check that out)...

Hope you will join in the fun on this one, and oooh incase you don't know.... and where have you been if you don't..... Mo can now been found on FB, hanging out with all the rest of you Mo fans.... at Bella and Bronte's Clubhouse.

Someones been busy.............. !!!!

-Donna at BearlyMine Designs, hasn't just brought out ONE set of Mixed Media.... but TWO... and I have t say, they are fantastic.... HERE is the link to the shop so you can go and have a gander, be warned you might need to keep your Debit card to hand lol... (and a little bird tells me, there might even be a freebee)!!!!! ;) I have not had chance to play with these at the moment... but I know a few of the other DT have !!! so keep an  eye on their blogs.

New Mixed Media papers from Bearly Mine Designs.

These gorge new papers will be on sale on 20th March, available at BearlyMine Designs, also if you pop over to the shop now you will see two fabby cards made by Donna, using these papers.. I know the rest of the DT are all drooling over these :)  so only two days to wait.... :).. They really are scrummy... :)

Another Boyz card for Making Cards Mag

Good morning all fellow crafters...  first of all... who's pinched the sun? ... humph... Been a lovely few days here in rural Kent, was just getting used to a bit of warmth... so much for that... it didn't last long... but it was lovely whilst it did.  Back to heating on again now...:(

As you can see, I have been busy again, shame I not been blogging as much as I have been card making, really must try to pop in and do a bit more here... smacks wrist !  lol

This card is also in the latest issue of Making Cards Magazine, in the Cardz for Kidz section... I just LOVE using cute images....  This one is also by LOTV, and coloured with copics,  papers as before on previous card...  yes I know, Im being a bit slap dash with details... but I made it that long ago, memory fails me lol...

again I was so lucky to find just the right embellie with the little yacht :) happy days lol... just sooo easily pleased.  I also spent a bit of time  looking up knots too... yeah get me :)

Ok.... now time for a little bit of news....... as I'm in a lazy mood I will copy and paste this from Mo's DP2 Challenge Blog,

This is just one of my cards in April's addition, I have used LOTV  Gone Fishing rubber stamp,  Ahoy There papers by Docrafts, gone fishing button from stash, (how lucky was I to have that ) perfect :), and copics used.

Still have one piece of news to share.... but... not just yet .... sorry to tease you... but the big reveal is not quite ready :)...   and on that note... Im off to play/work... got a lot of projects that now need my undivided attention and am on a timescale....  Will be back soon with another card...

March Challenge at BearlyMine

Good morning all, cannot believe that its the 1st of March already, but this means that it is the start of a brand new challenge over at BearlyMine Challenges, (this would have been a scheduled post, but, I am away at the moment and could not get any internet access yesterday... was in total panic... glad all sorted this morning, thank goodness).

Finally... some cards. :)

I can finally show you the cards that were submitted for the March Issue of Making Cards Magazine,... not that I will remember what I used to make them lol.. time to start keeping notes me thinks...  However I DO know that they are both images, from Lily of the Valley :) You will just have to go and buy the issue of MC lol... 

and whoop whoop looks whos on the top right hand corner :)

Still 'plugging' way at practising pleats , might get the hang of it one day lol...
