Good Sunday morning alll.... and its a bit brrr today...  to say there is a nip in the air is an understatement.

Today starts another fabby challenge over at Totally Tilda, and the theme for the next two weeks is..

Die Cuts AND Punches

So a die cut AND a punch to be used please.

Bearly Mine Designs is back. :)

Good news all... Donna at Bearly Mine Designs is back with us again, and has a brand new set of digi papers.  If you liked her Simply Dots, you will love these also.

I would also like to say.... that Bearly Mine Challenges will be starting back up again on 20th March, with a few little changes.... we will be running weekly from then on, as opposed to fortnightly.

Donna and myself are busy busy, sorting out lots of fun new challenges for you all, so we hope to see lots of you wonderful crafting peeps joining in.:)

A Gem of A Challenge 40

OOh sorry Im late, had a bad night, and slept in this morning, still half a sleep now... 

New challenge starting today over at AGOAC, and the theme for this next two weeks is a fabby sketch by our Katie.

I have used one of Pink Gems new additions,  just too cute for words...  Baby girl sleeping bear, can be found HERE, along with many more little newbies...
Now, you will however noticed a slight change in design, as I decided my likkle baby bear was going to wear pjs  and have 'bear' feet :) ... Katies has got pants and socks ...  I like to be different, sometimes I don't even have to try ROFL..

Not sure where I got the papers from, but as ever, I stupidly coloured up the bear first, will I never learn !!!.. too eager to get those copics on the go, thats my trouble.... so these were the only suitable papers that matched colours...  I do know the stripey one is by SU...
Copics used... R20,21,24,27.  E30,33,34,35 44. and C1 and 3 and as per usual lots of glamour dust. :)

We had a fantastic response to our last challenge, Fairies, so if you entered that, make sure you pop over and see if you are a winner, although in my eyes you all winners, as so many fantastic cards made, and lots of lovely little creations and projects.

Good morning..... brrrr again  minus 4 .... hope you all a tad warmer... although somehow I doubt that lol....

As you can see I had another bash at the pleats, was pleased with how they turned out on this one, sadly my latest efforts all ended up in the bin :( ..  defo still hit and miss with this technique, and more miss than hits lol

A Gem of a Challenge # 39

Brrrrr -4 not good :( ... Hope its a bit warmer for the rest of you.

Today we start a new fortnights challenge over at AGOAC blog, and the theme this week is

FAIRIES.

I think most of the DT have a little fav this week as a lot of us have used the same image, she is called  Faye,, and can be found HERE , at the Pink Gem shop, and is one of Janets'  new cutie little newbies. :)

It is so nice to see the same image used in so many different ways.  I have also used Pink Gems sentiment stamp and DP's, the stripey and quilt effect are on the Penguinfrolics download.  (see not just for Christmas lol). :) 

Copics used.. BV0000, 000,00,01,02,04.  G20,21,24,28  Hair (my fav combo).. E11, 13, 15,17,18,19.  

Skin E000,00,01,11,13 R20.  flowers C1,3, Y 11,15, 18 (i think) lol not used to using the yellows much, also a large helping of glamour dust on the wings, with a little bit of BV0000, 000, 01. Flowers and leaves from stash, and probably most bought from Wild Orchid Crafts.  as for the clematis paper... no idea :)  For one I dug into my box of papers first, and coloured up Faye accordingly.  makes life SO much easier, I just wish I would remember to do that all the time, but... I am usually so keen on getting on with the fun bit.. ie colouring.... I forget lol... 

Off for my usual caffine fix.. 2nd of the day, and I might be more with it then... then off to lunch with my youngest daughter... hope they got a roaring open fire in the pub, cos if so, thats where I will be sitting, even if it does mean I have to eat off my lap LOL.

Our boss lady Janet, has been a very busy little bee of late, and has yet  more super cute images.... I absolutely adored the baby bears that she brought out recently, and I didn't think they could come any cuter..until she come up with these two little beauties  (specially for me she said LOL).... how totally adorable are they...

A Gem of A Challenge -38

Morning all,
I am back from my little jaunt away, and I had a fabulous time... probably a few more pounds heavier, :) Stayed with a friend up in Worcs, and whilst I was there, I popped over to see the boss :), Janet from Pink Gem, who is just as lovely in real life as she is on paper LOL... So lovely to finally meet her in person.

I am a day late with my posting of this next two weeks challenge over at AGOAC,  so I do apologise.  The theme this time is a fabby sketch by Lisa.

I have used one of the new images by Janet, called Faye, who I think is just adorable.   I am not sure who the dp's are made by, as I poached them from my friend whilst visiting :), however, the lace is from my stash, as are the flowers lol....   I am also sorry re the copics used, as once again, I used Jennies ... I did take some of mine, but... not the right ones, typically...  The sentiment was computer generated, once again by Jennie It is so good to have friends who help out in times of need ROFL...

I hope to be back again very soon with something else.... as I am going to try and be a bit more organised with all my birthday cards I need to make this year... I have somehow already managed to miss 3 birthdays.. and it still only January lol.. but in my defense, I was on my jollies at the time... ok.. I know I should have posted them BEFORE i went, but that far too simple for me !!!

A Gem of a Challenge -36

Minus 1... not the best way to wake up is it !!! gosh that was a bit of a shock when put toes out of bed... need to reset heating me thinks !  but then, that also might mean a few extra hours in bed :) brrrrrr

So thats my weather report from Kent this morning LOL... now onward with the fun stuff..... AGOAC, has a fantastic sketch by Rebekah,  to follow this time, and I would like to point out, ,that this challenge will run until 6th January as we are all having a little break over the Xmas period, I think we are all 'carded' out lol...

I really liked this one and will defo use again. So thank you Rebekah, fabby :)

LOOK.... NO COLOURING ... lol , getting near to making my last few Xmas cards, and just not the time to sit and colour... so I was so pleased I had this image, which can be found HERE at the Pink Gem shop,  cos I think, as per usual, its sooo cute.  All of the design papers are also by Pink Gem, as is the sentiment stamp,  (got to be one of my favs too)...  so no copic numbers to wrack my brains for lol....

A Gem of a Challenge -35

Morning all, sorry I am a bit late with my post this morning, but having a dreadful time of sleeping just lately, seem to be waking every hour of the night, so am playing catch up in the morning as staying put in my bed to grab an extra hour or so.  Time to remember to schedule night before me thinks ! :)

Anyway, today there is a new challenge starting and will run for the next two weeks, at AGOAC, and the theme this time is....

 As you can see I have gone for various shades of brown right down to cream.  I have used.
