Good afternoon all fellow crafters :).... finally managed to make another card.. as wanted to join in this weeks DP2 challenge, the theme is RED, WHITE AND BLUE... so another boys card, as I adore this image called Tolerance, by Mo, which can be found HERE

Good morning all, yep... its Tuesday again, which means a brand new challenge starts over at BearlyMine challenges,  The theme for this week is...

Lucky Dip

I have used Pearls, Die cuts and ribbon.  The image is by The Paper Shelter, and called Bee Bear and can be found HERE , our kind sponsers for this challenge. 

Papers used are Floral Surprise and Simply Dots by BearlyMine Designs. The scrabble tiles I found as a freebie, but cant remember where now, sorry.

DP2 Challenge card.

Been playing in craft room, and getting covered in copics and sticky stuff :).  and hey get me, two cards made in one day... must be a record lol.

Hope everyone is enjoying the sun.... I would be, but... suffering dreadfully with hayfever.... although the Rapeseed looks fantastic at the moment.... and as far as my eye balls can see.......its doing me in! ..  so good enough reason to lock myself away, with a box of kleenex and my copics.

 

this weeks challenge is Clean and Simple, not the easiest challenge for me, but I thought if I went for a male card it would be a lot easier... and it was :).  Think thats the way to go for me when its a CAS challenge anywhere lol... 

I am also entering this for the Papertake challenge this week, which is Anything Goes.

Diva

Good afternoon from a damp Kent :(.. so much for yesterdays weather staying put ... !    

Decided, due to said weather, time to get my butt in gear and go and have a play in my craft room.  

I had already decided to colour up Diva by Mo Manning, and enter the latest challenge, over at DP2 Challenge blog,  and also try out for the DT call on the Dream Team.  Well if you not in it, etc. :)

 

I thought I would also add some quilling for a complete change, oh boy do my fingers know about that !!!... paper cuts galore and as stiff as,  to say the least... but I think it was worth it... just lol.. 

Both papers are from stash, Ribbon from SU, paper doily.. wayhey, finally found some in correct size, lol.... and obviously copics.

I have used a Hanglar stamp, and I thought this was rather apt with the seedlings :) coloured with copics, as per :)

OPPS... Guess who forgot to do a posting.... Many apologies (but already in holiday mode)... mind on sunny Italy already, lol... sorry all.

 

I was extremely chuffed to be Guest Designer for the Forever Friends Challenge this week, (yes ok this is NOT a Forever Friends bear)... :)  However the theme for this challenge is Diecuts/and punches...

LOTV card

Good afternoon crafters... Hope you are all keeping warm and dry.. have to say, we are lucky here on the South East coast, and have escaped a lot of the snow that the rest of the Country seems to have been hit by.

I was having a good old sort out of images, and OMG... I had forgotten I had some gorge LOTV ones, that I got free in a magazine a while back. smack my wrists lol... so... out come the copics and as it happened, I spotted this weeks challenge over at Lili's Little Fairies blog, and the theme is Spring colours :) To me, Spring is Yellows and Greens... so hence the colour ways on card.

 

Mind you... not looking much like Spring (or feeling it), outside at the moment. lol...   All the papers I have used are by SU, as is the ribbon,. Not sure where I got the sentiment from..  Yellow flowers punched out using the Retro flower punch, have to say, I love those punches.    Image by LOTV. and.... Copics used are.

Bearly Mine Challenge 78

Little bit of paper piecing.

 

 

Thought I would try something a bit different again,..... :) This card has been moved all around my desk for weeks now, just waiting to be finished off... finally !!!! hurrah... it come together. 

 

This has still got to be one of my fav stamps, had it ... a few years, but still love it...  I not only paper pieced this image, but also decoupaged it as well.. hey get me lol.. (only by mistook I hasten to add). :) 

 

 

the image is by Sarah Kay, the little tag is a freebee from a magazine.. as is the yellow backing paper,  Simply Dots by Bearly Mine Designs,  Lace, pearls, brads and Flowers from stash, three lilac paper flowers at bottom by Fred She Said.

Well with that done and finally finished, time to have a good clear up... again, of my craft room... and onto my next project.

Bearly Mine Challenge 76

Back again with a brand new challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenges.  This week it is the turn of  Team B and the theme is..  MOTHERS DAY.

I tried to steer clear of  my copics... !!! but, as you can see from above, it did not work LOL... I did however make the card directly below first.... but.... withdrawals for the alcohol (pens in this instance) :).. got the better of me... so made another card.  One to send, and one to give to my granddaughter for her mummy.  

For this one I used Shabby Vintage and Simply Dots by Bearly Mine Designs,  flower decoupage from stash, and computer generated sentiment.  The inside is decorated to match the front :) (yeah get me lol).

Bearly Mine Challenge 74

Good morning from a freezing cold Kent... but I think the sun is trying to break through... so rumor has it :)   I have had a toot week.. evicting unwanted house guests, who decided my airing cupboard was a much warmer place to sleep than the fields... no pay .. no stay....    Also my poor mutly dawg, had to have a few toothies out.. but, has come out of it far better than I did lol... my nerves have been shattered to say the least... but ... apart from now having a dodgy phone line... all is gradually getting better !!!!  Thankfully.   as have my deadlines with Design Team work, and need to get back to my craft room. Luckily.. this card was made well in advance,  a first for me LOL...

(and apparently you can use, one, two or three of them for your card, I do wish someone had pointed that out to me at the time !!! ROFLMAO, spot the twine !!!!! )..
