Pink Gem Challenge 34

Good morning fellow crafters  :) 

A New challenge is starting today over at A Gem of A Challenge, today, (don't forget to check to see if you were a winner if you entered last fortnights, cold and frosty challenge)... we had an AMAZING response to that one, so many fabulous cards... thank you to all that joined in the fun.

So onto this next challenge and it is a gorge sketch by Christine, the extra that we want is stitching or faux stitching :) got to give you something extra to work with LOL....

I have used Pink Gems new Christmas Baubles digi images, which can be found HERE
The DP is by Bearly Mine,, for the Christmas Swirls set, 

Copics used, in this instance VARIOUS lol...   I have also used the Magnolia tag die, which is stamped with a sentiment. and tucked in behind the circle. my little twist on the sketch.

Bearly Mine Challenge 23

Good morning all, Hope you are all keeping well and warm.... :) brrrrrr

A few things to tell you today, ... As some of you might or might not know, our boss, at Bearly Mine, the lovely Donna, is quite poorly at the moment, if you pop over to her blog HERE there are recent updates from her  hubby and herself to tell you whats been occurring ... as they say :)...

As she is no fit state to be typing much, and you can hardly do that, with feet up laying flat on back, taking it easy, in a hospital bed !!!! I am going to play at being secretary for a while, and if anybody would like to send her a little get well card, in the post, please feel free to contact me at semark262@btinternet.com and I will forward on her addy to you.

In the meantime, I am probably causing total chaos  running the show at BM for the DT LOL... gawd help her when she gets back, or more to point, gawd help me hehe..  in the meantime.... a brand new challenge has just started for the next two weeks over at the Bearly Mine Challenge Blog, and the theme for this time is

ONE FOR THE BOYZ

If you pop over and look at the wonderful cards the other DT have made, you will see that it can be interrupted in a couple of ways..... bit of lateral thining and all that...

I have used one of Kenny K's Christmas girlies who can be found HERE, called.Mistletoe also the papers I have used are by Bearly Mine, Christmas Fun and Christmas Swirls.    

 

Sorry about the awful photo, light dreadful and reckon I must have had the shakes at the time LOL... either through cold or the DT's and I dont think I meant Design Team either hehehe... if lighting gets any better, dont hold your breath, I will take another pic laters and replace.

Totally Tilda Challenge - 35

 

Good morning... duck weather again... even the dog requested wellies to go out for a wee. ! 

Anyway, onto the new Totally Tilda Challenge, for the next two weeks, and the theme is....

CHRISTMAS, WITH NO REDS, GREENS OR BLUES. !

 

Nice easy one :) I have used Bearly Mine, Christmas fun dp, (snowflake on), and Pink Gems Penguin Frolics.

Sentiment also from Pink Gem, ribbon, snowflakes from stash, and twinklets used.

A Gem of a Challenge -33

Good morning all... sorry I a little late, been busy girl this week, and overslept a tad... still trying to wake up enough to sort this posting... the idea was to schedule it...but with whizzing around like more of a nutter than I normally am.. that too went by the wayside... all the best plans etc. !  lol

My 'mum' , is moving today, to Glos, to be with her daughter, so its been a sad week, seeing all her stuff being moved or thrown or into bags for charity shops. I am off to hers after this, to say farewell...  But, its all in her best interest, anyway... lets crack on with what I meant to do doing.... talk about side tracked easily lol

A Gem of A Challenge has a new theme starting today, and that is COLD AND FROSTY... (like that in real time too at min lol)..... So with the C word approaching... think this is very apt .. the DT have produced some fabulous cards, as always....

The image I have used, can be found HERE, at the Pink Gem shop... Papers are from  stash, sentiment and charm also by Pink Gem, I also used twinklets on the snowflake, and glamour dust on all the stars.. not that it showing up much in the piccy... so its VERY sparkly lol...   Now I wonder if you can spot the deliberate mistake on my card?????  and yes.. there is one ! LOL...  sure I losing my marbles...  infact, think I lost them long time ago.... there is no hope... hehe.

Hope lots of you will join in the fun on this one...

Bearly Mine - 22

Morning all.... yep back to wet and gloomy.. however... can't expect much else this time of year, and it could be a lot worse, from what I just heard on the news.

But lots of pretties to see this week made by the DT over  at Bearly Mine Challenges, where today starts a new challenge, with the theme of

ANYTHING BUT A CARD

It certainly challenged m e, thats for sure, having to think outside of the box, a nd hehe.. no pun actually intended there... 

Now... what started of, being a relatively simple idea, turned out into a fiasco.. (nothing to do with the challenge as such,, as the idjut.. ie me :)) thinking she a smart a...e !!! 

Had a lovely little box... all ready to be 'contstructed' .. basically glued lol.... sorted... box made... all I had to do was decorate it.... so I spent a few hours, colouring up an image, happily sticking pretty papers to said box... and just as adding those last finishing details.... and I mean LAST .... lightbulb come on..... (in head that is).....  as pretty as it all was... and as happy as I was .... WRONG DT CHALLENGE !!!!!!  I cant possibly repeat what come out of my mouth.... but to say the air was a tad blue, was an understatement. :)

So... next day.... well had enough of it by then... thought of another 'not so' bright idea.... and... make a box from nesties..... erm.... that didnt go quite according to plan either.... lol.. so... over to plan C then..... 

so here is my... anything but a card and anything but quick and easy !!! ROFL... (wasnt laughing at the time, I can tell you)... 

Honestly it really isnt a hard challenge, if you go and see what the rest of the girls have made, you will see there are plenty of fabulous ideas, after all said and done I just m ade a right hash of it LOL...  the rest of them, have certainly put me to shame.... but I had lost the will to live by then LOL.

Totally Tilda Challenge - 34

Morning all... winter is on its way then ! .. brrrrr.. can see the heating going on again later in day... in the mean time, I am still wrapped up in a big fluffy dressing gown, with my first caffine fix of the day :) and with the back door open, although that wont be for long, if the dog thinks she toddling around the garden for half the morning, she got another think coming.....lol
Right so onto this weeks new challenge over at the Totally Tilda Challenge Blog, and.... just fitting for this time of year... cos there are plenty on the ground and not so many on the trees ! lol... Autumn Leaves... we would like to see leaves of some sort on your card please.

The DT girls have yet again come up with some wonderful cards, for inspiration.. so I do hope you will pop by their blogs and check them out.

A Gem of a Challenge -32

Good morning all, well the sun is shinning even if it is a bit nippy, but least it not duck weather..:) however it has its down side, my neighbour has been laying a new driveway for the past two weeks.... so I have had dust, noise, more dust, and more noise.... head ringing.... got neumatic drill in head now... sure I can still hear it in my sleep.  Be glad when he finished.... however, that also has another down side.. lol. cos it only my drive now, that in need of re laying... :(  all the time his was rubbish I didnt care... lol..  think I might go away for two weeks, if I get mine done...

anyways.... on a much lighter note... now Ive had a whinge... lol.... a brand new challenge starts today, and will run for two weeks, over at A Gem of a Challenge.  and Janet has come up with a fabby sketch for us all to follow,

Good morning all, and a reasonable day outside... ish... :) well least it not cats and dogs or duck weather, so guess we ought to be grateful .

and I like to be different :) so I done a twisted easel. shame I didn't think of how I was going to take the photograph before I decided on this !!! lol.... not the easiest to photograph... but you get the drift :)

Good morning all, and its back to 'duck weather' I see... dog took one look out of door and promptly about turned and went back to bed... (she doesn't 'do' the wet stuff) lol

I gone AWOL... well I had, sort of, sorry, been so busy sorting 'mum' out  for her move to her real daugter's place, I have not had time to do much on the crafting front, however, I have gone back to me roots, as they say lol.... and had to make one order card, and a card for 'mum'...  yep she stuck with me, like it or not, and probably not... so I dug out my CD and come up with these two... heart just not into copics just now... although they will have to be in the next few days, with DT stuff coming up... it will be like buses then.... !!! lol
so two cards............... had to make, one reason or another.
